SSNCE Chennai Admission 2025 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

SSNCE Chennai admission 2024 is ongoing. JEE Main 2024 session 2 registration started on February 02, 2024 and will end on March 02, 2024. The exam for session 2 of JEE Main 2024 will be conducted from April 4 to April 15, 2024. JEE Main score card is required for admission to B.Tech. Similarly, for admission to M.Tech at SSNCE Chennai students need a valid scorecard of GATE. GATE 2024 answer key will be released on February 21, 2024 and the result will be released on March 16, 2024. 

Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering (SSN CE) admission session starts in the month of May every year. The mode of application is offline and entrance mode is offline/online. Interested candidates can get the application form from the college or can download it through the official website. An incomplete application form will be rejected.

All courses of SSN are affiliated to Anna University and strictly follow the admission guidelines laid down by the university. Admission in UG courses is solely merit-based while PG course admission is based on the score of GATE/TANCET entrance exam. The entrance exam for PG courses usually happens in the month of February/March and the results for the same are declared in the month of March/April. Details are given below on the page. Counselling for admission is at the state level and totally depend on the merit and the marks scored by the candidate in the qualifying examination. The applicants will be notified of counselling date and time for admission at SSN CE by the college. A degree wise selection criterion is given on the page.

The candidate should be a graduate degree holder with a minimum aggregate of 60 percent. GATE score qualified.

1. Selection of candidates will be based on the Qualifying marks (Q) obtained in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in Plus Two or equivalent.
2. Q = M + ((P+C) / 2), where M, P and C are percentage marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry respectively.
3. Selection is solely on Merit.
4. Mere submission of data sheet is not a guarantee for selection.

The Candidate should have passed 12th examination or equivalent from any recognized board.

B.Tech applicants of SSN CE should have passed 12^th examination or equivalent from any recognized board/Institute with relevant marks.

SSN CE B.E/B.Tech Application Process 2019

Interested students can download application form online through the official website of the college or can get it from the college office. Then applicant needs to fill the form correctly and submit along with the required documents and demand draft for Rs. 950/- in favor of "SSN College of Engineering" payable at Chennai to the college itself or can pay it online through Credit Card (Visa/ Master)/ Debit Card/ Net Banking etc. (in case of online mode). The candidates are required to enclose only photocopies of the following certificates along with the completed application form: mark sheet of 10th and 12th or equivalent examinations, transfer certificate, proof for date of birth, community certificate (applicable to SC/ST, MBC/DNC and BC candidates only). Other admission formalities will be completed in the college itself.

SSN CE B.E/B.Tech Selection Process 2019

Admissions are decided solely on merit based on the cut off marks obtained in the 12^th examination or equivalent.

The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university can apply and must have valid GATE/TANCET scorecard.

SSN CE M.E/M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2019

The candidate must have obtained their Bachelor's Degree / appeared / appearing for the final semester / year Examination of the qualifying degree from a University / Professional Body approved / recognized by UGC / AICTE. Candidates with AMIE or equivalent can also apply and must have valid GATE/TANCET scorecard.

SSN CE M.E/M.Tech Application Process 2019

Interested candidate will have to get the application form either offline or online. After that fill that form correctly, then candidate needs to pay the fee of the application form. Once the candidate is done with the payment, then he/she need to submit the application form along with necessary documents.

SSN CE M.E/M.Tech Selection Process 2019

The candidate should have valid scorecard of GATE/ TANCET exam to apply for admission. The admissions to M.E. / M.Tech courses are done on merit based on the GATE / TANCET scores of the candidates.
