B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Engineering)Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology campus has abundant facilities to help students comfortably complete their studies. Below listed are all the facilities students can enjoy at the SVIST campus.
Library: The Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology Kolkata has a computerised library with a Book bank facility for the students. The latest National and International periodicals along with reference books are available for the students for lending and reference. A reading room along with a seating capacity of 120 students is available. International journals, National journals and e-journals are available in the Library.
Laboratories: The labs are designed in such a way that students can utilise the entire facility with the guidance of lab experts to gain more practical knowledge and utilise them for research activities and projects.
Hostel: SVIST has magnificently designed separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostels have their mess to provide good and hygienic food to the students.
Air-Conditioned Classrooms: The institute has air-conditioned spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, computer centres, library.
The SVIST Kolkata has 20 fully air-conditioned, spacious classrooms with a seating capacity of 60 students. Rooms are well furnished, well lit and airy. Classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors and microphones for interactive learning.
Seminar Hall: The institute has a 400-seater fully air-conditioned seminar hall with a microphone, LCD Projector etc.
