Tagore Engineering College Chennai currently offers admission into a total of 7 undergraduate and 6 postgraduate courses in addition to a handful of research programmes across two streams - Engineering & Technology and Business Administration. At the ug level, TEC Chennai offers admission into the B.E and B.Tech degree programme in specializations like mechanical engineering, information technology, electronics & communication engineering, computer science engineering and aeronautical engineering. Students are chosen based on their performance in Tamil Nadu’s HSC examination and through Anna University Chennai’s counselling process (TNEA counselling process). Candidates may also apply directly for admission into the college through the Management Quota.
