The B.Pharm lateral entry admission process in Haryana consists of three main steps: Online Registration, appearing for the Haryana OCET 2025 exam (earlier, Haryana LEET exam), and participating in the OCET counselling process 2025 to get a seat in a college of your choice.

Through the DPharm programme, students can enrol directly for the B.Pharm course and get entry in the second year of graduation. The pharmacy programme is overseen by AICTE and PCI; therefore, it is advised by various academic mentors to apply for colleges in Pharmacy that are AICTE-affiliated or PCI-affiliated. A few of the renowned colleges for second-year Pharmacy admission are Gurugram University, KLE University’s College of Pharmacy, MAK College of Pharmacy, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, CGC Landran, etc. 

Admission to the top college is based on entrance exams, and some admissions are also merit-based. However, for the states of West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, it is completely based on entrance exam results. The exams for direct second-year admissions for the Pharmacy stream are WB JELET, OJEE, AP ECET, TG ECET, etc. As per the latest data released by PCI, in India, there are 1400 PCI-affiliated colleges and institutes enhancing the career prospects in the Pharmaceutical industry of individuals enrolled in the course.

Admissions to BPharma in Kerala for the 2025-26 academic year are based on the KEAM entrance exam. KEAM, or the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical examination, is a state-level entrance test that is conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) on an annual basis. The KEAM 2025 exam for the Pharmacy stream was conducted on April 24 and 29, 2025.
