For all courses, UCST admission is ongoing. Candidates can submit an application for the appropriate courses by going to the institute's official website.
One of Uttarakhand's first independently-funded institutions, Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology Dehradun (UCST Dehradun) was founded in 2002. The founding organization, the Uttaranchal Progressive Educational Society, is responsible for managing and operating the Institute. The Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology, Dehradun, is authorised by the Government of Uttarakhand and is affiliated with the Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University (SDSUV) and the HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal).
At the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, it provides instruction in a variety of professional education disciplines. Degrees are granted by the institute in fields including chemistry, physics, zoology, botany, environmental science, medicine, biotechnology, microbiology, mass communication, management, computer science, and library sciences.
Over seven PhD theses have been supervised on the UCST Dehradun campus, and the institution has a total of 70 publications to its credit. A team of 45 highly skilled and experienced academic members educates students and develops them into experts in connected industries. The Institute promotes student involvement in a variety of group activities, sports, lectures, cultural events, personality development programs, and field trips.
Both the online and offline processes are used for Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology admissions. Every year, in the month of May, applications are opened for all programmes. All students whose results are pending are eligible for temporary admission to the institution. Before applying to any of the programs offered at UCST, candidates must check their eligibility requirements on the official website. The standards established by HNBGU apply to eligibility concessions, if any.
Candidates for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies at UCST 2021 may submit their applications online. When applying for admission, candidates must present both their original papers and authenticated copies of those same documents. There are several methods to fill out or get a UCET application form :
Step 1: Go to the UCET official website and click on 'Admission Open for 2023-24'
Step 2 : To download the chosen application form, click on it.
Step 3 : The form should be completed and sent with a check for Rs. 325 or a DD made out to Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology.
OR
Visit the main campus's admissions office armed with all the necessary paperwork. Get an application form for Rs 300, fill it out, and send it in with all the required paperwork.
Step 1: Go to the UCET website and select "Submit Online Admission Form."'
Step 2 : Complete the online application form with all necessary information.
Step 3 : Send the application form's printout along with a DD for Rs 350 payable to Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology after it has been submitted.
At the undergraduate level, BCA, BSc, BBA, and B.Lib.I.Sc are all offered by the Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology in Dehradun. The BCA, BBA, and BSc IT are the only programmes where the institute uses a semester system; all other programs, including the BSc Biotechnology, Microbiology, Electronics, and Instrumentation, rely on an annual examination schedule.
The six specialisations available for the BSc degree are biotechnology, microbiology, agriculture, information technology, forestry, and electronics/instrumentation. Except for BSc (Agriculture/Forestry), which has a four-year length, other specialisations of the Bachelor of Science last for three years.
Selection criteria: PI is used as a backup, with Class 12 or equivalent test merit serving as the final criterion.

In addition to BSc, the UG programmes of Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology also include BCA, BBA, and B.Lib.I.Sc. BCA and BBA programmes last three years each, whereas B.Lib.I.Sc programmes last only one year.
Final admission is determined by merit in the Class 12 or equivalent test, followed by PI.

At the graduate level, the academic offerings at Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology include the MSc and MA degrees. In all PG programs, theory articles are accompanied by a substantial amount of practical work.
UCST Dehradun provides an MA and 10 different specialisations for MSc degrees. The PG courses last for two years. For all PG programs, the HNB Garhwal University (central university) implemented a four-semester structure.
Final admission is based on graduation merit, then PI, according to the selection standards.

The HNB Garhwal University offers overseas admission to the PhD course at the Uttaranchal College of Science and Technology in Dehradun, which is given in the 11 subjects of study. PhD programmes must be completed in a minimum of three academic years for full-time students and four years for part-time research students. Candidates from the following groups will be registered for the PhD programme :
Selection criteria: Final admission is determined by the results of the entrance test taken and administered by UCST Dehradun. Candidates who have successfully completed the UGC NET or CSIR NET are excused from the entrance exam and are summoned immediately for the PI round.
