Situated in Vivek Vihar, Vivekananda College campus is spread over a vast area of 10 acres out of which more than 50% is open space for sports facilities and garden area. Vivekananda College, University of Delhi consists of 35 classrooms, two specialized laboratories, 12 tutorial rooms, three computer centres with state-of-art facilities and high-speed internet connectivity, auditorium, conference room, seminar room and a fully automated library. The Vivekananda College campus is fully wi-fi enabled and is the first University of Delhi affiliated college to include a 200 metres synthetic track for athletics. The college recently inducted a new academic block where teaching has begun according to the latest reports.
Vivekananda College offers various facilities in the form of:
Library: The Vivekananda College library is fully computerised and is well stocked with over 50,000 books related to Commerce and Humanities. It also has annual subscriptions to 10 newspapers and 60+ periodicals in both Hindi and English languages. The library is equipped with UGC Infonet services (J-STOR), OPAC facility and high-speed internet. The “Book Bank” consists of core textbooks which is accessible to the meritorious students of the college. The “Book Bank” issues textbooks to the eligible students for a whole year without any extra charge. There is a collection of atlases, maps, audio-cassettes and compact disks available in audio-visual format. The library has a comfortable and spacious reading room and can accommodate 140 individuals at a time. The Vivekananda College library is a two-storeyed building.
Computer Lab: Vivekananda College computer labs are equipped with state-of-art facilities such as scanners, LCD projectors, internet connectivity for both the students and teachers. There are three computer labs present in the Vivekananda College campus.
Laboratories: Vivekananda College has a Psychology laboratory and a Food Technology Laboratory where the students can perform various experiments. The Food Technology laboratory specializes the students in the preservation of foods and bakery. Several new low-cost food products are the brainchild of Vivekananda College Food Technology department. The institute’s proposal of constructing another psychology laboratory is all likely to receive affirmation from the concerned authorities. Intelligence tests, personality tests, aptitude tests etc. are the list of psychological tests conducted in the te psychology laboratory.
Sports & Extracurricular: Vivekananda College has a very big playground for sports and several other extracurricular activities. The students receive training from experts and as a result, the college sports team is always present in the top bracket of various tournaments and sports meet. Currently, the college provides adequate facilities for hockey, athletics, volleyball, table tennis, kabaddi and cross country. Keeping in mind the requirement for athletics, the college received a new 200 metres synthetic track sanctioned by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. The synthetic track is one of its kind among all the other University of Delhi Colleges.
Medical Facilities: The college has a medical room within the campus which is responsible to look after the basic health care facilities of the students and faculty members. The allopathic doctor is available four times a week for three hours each while the homoeopathic doctor can be consulted twice a week.
Auditorium: The Vivekananda Auditorium is used for hosting various cultural and academic events of the college. Recognised cultural groups are also allowed by the concerned authorities to hold their programmes. The auditorium has all the basic facilities like sound and light system etc. The fully air-conditioned Vivekananda Auditorium can accommodate 700 persons at a time.
Sharda Hall: With a seating capacity of 150 persons, the Sharda Hall is extensively used for lectures, seminars, talks by external professionals and film screening by the Vivekananda College Film Society. The seminar hall is fully air-conditioned and consists of an LCD projector serving the purposes.
Other than these, Vivekananda College offers counselling services to the students along with other facilities like bank, music room and a functional canteen.
The Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minorities provides hostel facility for boys and girls studying in the post metric or higher classes in government institutions at the Sanskar Ashram Complex, Dilshad Garden, Delhi-93.
The various cultural activities in the college are organized primarily through the various students’ societies under the aegis of The cultural committee of the college.
Students’ Union
The Students’ Union is an active organization which, with the loving guidance of a committee of teachers, provides effective leadership in various activities geared to bringing out the best in the students by organizing educational tours, get-togethers etc. An annual highlight is the inter college winter festival Pallavi, that showcases the multifarious talents and enthusiasm of the students, the Students’ Union of the college is affiliated to Delhi University Students’ Union.
Spic-Macay
This is an organization that affiliates the students to their roots by exposing them to ancient traditions of classical music and dance recitals and interactive sessions facilitated by renowned artists.
Students are considered to be the future of a country. Their health will have to be nurtured to make them power house that a country requires to progress.
With this philosophy in mind Vivekananda College puts maximum focus on sports activities and encourages students to participate and excel in a variety of games and sports that are organized regularly in our college. The College provides facilities forAthletics, Hockey,Cross country, Football, Netball and Volleyball. Our students have participated in State level, National and Inter University level tournaments and made the college proud The college conducts extra-murals where teams from different colleges/institutions are invited to participate. A zestful sports day and intra-murals competitions are organized every year, where college students, teachers and non-teaching staff participate in various sports with enthusiasm.
The National Service Scheme celebrates the virtues of selfless devotion towards the community and the virtue of giving. The college has a vibrant N.S.S. organization that carries out activities throughout the year. . It is sponsored by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. The activities are organized at the college and community level under the guidance of a Teacher Coordinator. A voluntary body of students interested in the well-being of the society, the college campus has over 200 students registered with the NSS who enthusiastically participate in and conduct workshops on diverse topics. Blood Donation Camps, events such as “Save the Girl Child”, awareness programs on female feticide, rally against usage of drugs, eye-test camps, personality development programs, donation camps/charity programs for underprivileged, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan program, National Voter’s day are some of the events organized by the NSS over the years. They have also enthusiastically volunteered to counsel the fresher’s going through the admission process and been active during the 1st and 2nd phase of the Odd-Even policy of Delhi Government to reduce pollution, asking people to follow the rules and engaging them with the rising concerns of the environmental degradation. They’ve held a workshop on Crime Against Women and Girls, and have been avid participants at inter and intra college events.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good of vivekananda college, they need Sone cleanliness in the canteen of the college the park of college is also really good with some rides, I really love my colleges Infrastructure
Hostel: Vivekananda college doesn't have any hostel. This is an area where they need to work because there are many student who comes from very far that's why they take many leaves

Hostel: No hostel facility is available in our college. Though there r no. Of PGs available near to the college at affordable prices, my frnds live there Nd they have a good experience there including food.
Infrastructure: Well vivekananda college university of delhi has one one of the best infrastructure. There are many things in the college with normally many du colleges don't have for eg our hockey ground, race tracks and etc. The building also have a gym for college students a medical room , a lift for college students two auditoriums room for functions and seminars a stationary shop at gate number 2 for emergency stationary or print out uses and well maintained labs and much more....
Hostel: vivekananda college university of delhi don't have the hostel facility right now. Although it's a women college but it doesn't provide hostels facility for the girls of vivekananda
