I am not aware of Manipal and WGSHA, but being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of this programme at LPU with you.
Let me share few points about the Hotel Management programme at LPU :
Curriculum: High academic standards are maintained by offering the curriculum framed in consultation with industry experts.
Student exposure: Being a part of a resource-rich University, the students have an advantage of interdisciplinary exposure which is not possible in standalone colleges.
Uni-Hotel: The School also trains its students in the campus hotel named UniHotel of 25 rooms hosting national and international guests where students practice along with the staff.
Infrastructure: The School has five modern kitchens with two bakeries. All kitchen and bakery are equipped to enable a student to perform scientifically and to attain their best of learning through most modern gazettes. We have few training restaurants to teach a student about the authentic serving style of food and beverage. We are equipped with one front office laboratory, two housekeeping laboratories, two computer laboratories with 60 computers, and a simulation laboratory for aviation.
Placement: 100% placements record with minimum 10% students selected as Management Trainee (Junior Executive level) till date and the placement is with brands like Cox & Kings, Carnival Cruise, Jet Airways, Oberoi, Taj, Leela, etc.
Package: Six students were offered the package of Rs 8 Lakhs by Carnival Cruise in last years.
Internship: Industry internships in top national and international five-star hotel brands like The Leela Palace, ITC, Taj, Oberoi, The Grand, Marriott, etc.
Intellectual Strength: Faculty members with a holistic blend of academic & industrial exposure.
Immersive Mentor-ship Model: Experienced faculty members of the discipline nominated as mentors to eligible students.
