About B.A. French

Bachelor of Arts in French or B.A French is a three-year undergraduate degree programme where the students are taught about the various aspects of the French language. B.A. French Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for B.A French programme offered in various universities/institutions, the applicants have to - 

  • Pass their class XIIth exam from a recognised Board from any stream
  • Clear their qualifying exam with a minimum aggregate of 50% (for OBC/SC/ST it is 45%)

B.A French Admission Process

Admission into the B.A French programme is done on the basis of an entrance exam conducted at the university/institute-level. Eligible candidates are made to appear in the entrance test and on the basis of scores obtained in the test, allocation of seats is done. Some institutions/universities also go to the extent of conducting an additional personal interview round to gauge the suitability of the applicant for the B.A French programme.

B.A. French Admission process goes in the following manner:

  • Students first visit the website of the institutes that offer B.A. French and gather information on the admission criteria and other admission-related details
  • Within the prescribed deadline, they register for the B.A. French entrance exam and submit the application form and prescribed fees according to the process mentioned by the institute
  • The successful applicants appear on the entrance exam on its scheduled day
  • Once the exam gets over, the exam authority declares the result on the basis of which the colleges/universities prepare a merit list
