BUMS Syllabus and Subjects Overview

BUMS Syllabus has been designed to provide aspirants a thorough understanding of Unani Medicine and Surgery system. BUMS course is a 4.5 year long bachelor's programme for students who wish to develop an expertise in the field of Unani treatments. The focus of the BUMS Syllabus is to train the students to be able to treat the patients using the traditional healing system of Unani. The BUMS Course Curriculum includes a year-long, mandatory internship that exposes students to the use of the Unani medical system in real-world settings. The BUMS Syllabus focuses on enhancing the body's natural ability to heal itself in order to prevent and treat disorders. 

Thus, BUMS Course Curriculum consists of both theoretical and application-based subjects to introduce the Unani system of Medicine to the candidates. BUMS Syllabus includes a wide variety of subjects such as Kulliyat Umoore Tabiya, Ilmul Advia, Munafeul Aaza (Physiology), Mahiyatul Amraz (Pathology) etc. Students who have completed their bachelor’s in Unani Medicine have an array of employment opportunities at their disposal.
