The ITM NEST syllabus covers topics from both Paper A and Paper B. Paper A syllabus includes topics of Information and Technology (IT), English, and General Science whereas the syllabus of Paper B contains topics of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Test-takers must prepare for the exam based on the topics asked in previous years.

ITM NEST 2025 syllabus will be based on the pattern of CBSE/NCERT Science syllabus of class 11th and 12th. A fixed syllabus is not provided for the General Aptitude section. However, the General Aptitude section will contain questions related to the major historical milestones in physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology, astronomy, environment, and computer science.
