About B. Des Graphic Design

Bachelor of Design (B. Des) Graphic Design is a four-year graphic designing a course that explains how to create visual content with images, illustrations, and icons using the Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign software programs. Students of B. Des Graphic Design learn about visual identity graphic design, user interface graphic design, motion graphics design, publication graphics design, packaging graphics design, marketing & advertising graphics, environmental graphics, and arts & illustrations.

The course is divided into eight semesters of six months each. It addresses different aspects of graphic design. In addition to creativity, the students also acquire software knowledge, time management, programming languages, visualization, skill in visual design, and knowledge of color theory are also required of students.

B. Des Graphic Design Eligibility Criteria

Dear Student,

The first-year fee for the 4-year Bachelor of Design (B.Des) course at the Indian School of Design and Innovation is INR 6,70,000 (INR 3,35,000 per semester). There will be a nominal increase of 5% in tuition fees every year. The semester-wise tuition fee is payable at the beginning of the semester as per the notified date. Students also have to pay one-time registration and admission fees of INR 50,000 and a security deposit of INR 25,000 at the time of enrollment. The application fee is INR 3500 which is non-refundable. There is no hostel facility at the Indian School of Design and Innovation, Mumbai. However, there are various private hostels and PG accommodations available near the college which candidates may consider.
