MSc Admission is offered to the aspirants who passed graduation in Science or equivalent from a recognized institution. MSc course admission is done in two ways: merit based and entrance based. Merit-based admission to the course is done directly on the basis of score obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination and  entrance based admission to the course is done on the basis of score obtained by the candidate at a national level, state level or college level entrance exam. The average course fee ranges from INR 10 K - 1.5 lacs per annum.

MSc Admission Overview

MSc admissions are granted in two ways: merit-based or through an entrance exam. Whereas, the merit-based MSc admission to the course is done directly on the basis of the candidate's qualifying examination score. Some colleges additionally generate a cutoff list for admission based on the qualifying examination. On the other hand, entrance-based MSc admission to the course is based on the candidate's performance in national, state, or college-level entrance exams. MSc admission is finalised through the counselling process.

Note: MSc Admission 2023 is based on both admission and merit. IIT JAM, CUET PG, and other top entrance exams for MSc Admission 2023 are listed below. MSc admissions are currently open at several top colleges, including SSE, SIG, and others. CUET PG will now be used to determine DU MSc admission.

Candidates must meet the MSc eligibility criteria to be admitted to the MSc Course. All applicants must have a bachelor's degree in science from a recognised college/university with a minimum graduation mark of 50 - 60%. The most well-known MSc entrance exams in India include CUET PG, BITSAT, CUSAT CAT, and others. MSc Top colleges fees ranging from INR 6K to INR 1.10 LPA. In India, MSc in Distance Education is also available. MSc Distance Education colleges accept direct admission. The fee of an MSc Distance Education course ranges from INR 10K - 40K.
