Following are the minimum eligibility criteria for admission in M.Sc Virology course:
The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences/ Virology /Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology/ Medical Lab Technology/ MBBS/ B.VSc.
He/ She must have scored at least 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
Admission in M.Sc Virology course offered in most of the institutes is considered on the basis of the entrance examination. Pune university conducts university-level online examination for M.Sc Virology admission and Suresh Gyan Vihar University conducts SVUEE entrance exam.
The candidate must apply at the respective institute to appear in the entrance exam. The merit list is prepared for qualifying candidates after the entrance exam. Further admission process like documents verification and payment of fee is done on the basis of merit list.
