Scholarship Disbursement and Allocation

• Scholarship sanction is contingent upon students meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria and validation/authentication by the principals of the respective Higher Secondary Schools/Institutions, conducted exclusively in online mode.
• The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education will disburse the scholarship to selected students solely through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) mode. The funds will be transferred directly to the beneficiaries' bank accounts.
• Students are required to maintain an active and valid joint bank account in any nationalized bank with an Electronic Clearing System (ECS) or Core Banking facility. This facilitates the direct transfer of the scholarship amount to their accounts.
• The bank account must be under the name of the applicant and one of his/her parents. When providing bank details, students must input the Bank/Branch name, Savings Bank Account number, and IFSC code with utmost care to ensure a seamless transfer of the scholarship amount.
