Central University Jammu admission to different UG and PG courses requires a CUET score. Central University of Jammu B.Tech admissions will be based on JEE Mian. For M.Tech admission, it is mandatory to have a valid GATE score. To apply for CU Jammu MBA admissions, candidates must either have a CAT or MAT score. As far as PhD courses at Central University of Jammu are concerned, preference will be given to NET, SLET, GATE or related state/ national fellowship holders.

Clearing the required entrance test is the first step towards Central University Jammu admission. Candidates must keep in mind that apart from qualifying for entrance exams, it is compulsory to fulfil the course wise eligibility criteria too. B.Tech. in Computer Science and EngineeringMinimum 60% aggregate marks or its equivalent in 10 + 2 with Mathematics & Physics as compulsory subjects. JEE scores required.
M.Sc in Material Sciences & Technology 

B.Sc in Physics/ Chemistry/ Life Sciences/ Material Science/ Nanotechnology or any relevant subject with minimum 60% marks.

OR

B.E/ B.Tech in a relevant branch with minimum 60% marks from the recognised university/ institute.

M.Tech in Computer Science & EngineeringB. Tech/ B.E in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology/Electronics and Communication or MCA or M.Sc (Computer Science/ IT). with at least 60% marks. GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.
MBA Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with not less than 60% of total marks. Admission will be offered through CAT/MAT score.
M.Ed

55% marks or any equivalent grade in any of the programmes from a recognised university/institutions: 

  • B.Ed 
  • BA.B.Ed/ B.Sc.B.Ed/ B.Com.B.Ed 
  • B.El.Ed. 
  • D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree (with 55% marks in each)
M.Sc in Biotechnology Bachelor's degree with Biotechnology / Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Bioinformatics/ Pharmacy/ Life Sciences/ as one of the subjects with 60% marks.
MA in English Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with not less than 55% marks Preference will be given to the students with English Literature as one of the subjects.
PG Diploma in Yoga/ Indian Mystical Thought/ Saivism Graduation in any stream from a recognised institution.

CU Jammu Registration 2024

The entrance test for central universities is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in the form of Common University Entrance Test or CUET. CUET provides a single window for all students to seek admission in central universities across the country includingCentral University of Jammu. 

Applying for the CUET 2024 for CU Jammu admission involves the following steps:

  • Visit the CUET official website cuet.samarth.ac.in.
  • Click on New Registration and enter name, email address and mobile number to sign up.
  • Now using the same credentials, login into your account.
  • The application form will appear on the screen.
  • Fill in all the details and upload photograph and signature. Students are also asked about the program applied for and choice of University (up to 3).
  • Pay the CUET fees and save the confirmation form for future reference.

Central University of Jammu Admissions 2024: UG & PG

CU Jammu admission to all the programmes is done on the basis of merit through CUET which is conducted on an all India basis. For some courses the university may conduct its own entrance test subject to approval of competent authorities after conducting the CUET. For Central University of Jammu admission to B.Voc programmes, the university shall follow the relevant UGC guidelines/regulations that may be in addition to/ apart from the merit obtained through CUET in the respective courses. 

Central University of Jammu courses admissions involve the following steps:

  • Appear for the CUET and achieve a decent score.
  • Register for admission at cujammucuet.samarth.edu.in
  • Candidates need to enter their CUET score while registering for UG and PG courses at CU Jammu official website. 
  • List of selected candidates shall be displayed on the university website. No intimation to the selected candidates will be sent by post. 
  • The candidates must get their admissions completed by the dates as notified by the university and are advised to keep checking the university website www.cujammu.ac.in from time to time.
  • Only those candidates whose results of the qualifying examination are clear in all respects on the last date prescribed for admission at CU Jammu will be considered for admission to the chosen courses.

Central University of Jammu B.Tech Admissions 2024

Central University of Jammu B.Tech admission requires candidates to qualify for JEE Main. Based on the JEE scores, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) or Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will declare merit lists as well as allocate institutes to the deserving candidates. B.Tech at Central University of Jammu involves the following steps: 

  • Register and appear for JEE Main. 
  • Register at the JoSAA or CSAB at josaa.nic.in or csab.nic.in respectively. Candidates must use the JEE roll number and password for registration. 
  • After the JoSAA or CSAB registration, candidates are required to fill their choice of courses and colleges from the available list. 
  • The available courses and colleges according to a candidate’s eligibility will be listed out in online mode. Candidates can choose Central University of Jammu from the given list and the B.Tech course they wish to opt for. 
  • The next step is to lock their selected choices. No changes will be accepted once the choices are locked by the candidates. 
  • After shortlisting candidates JoSAA or CSAB will call them for document verification at their nearest centre. 
  • After the final merit lists are declared, candidates will be notified by the respective universities (Central University of Jammu in this case) to seek admission on the notified date.
  • There will be another round of document verification where  JoSAA/ CSAB selection form, academic documents, migration certificate and four recent passport size photographs are required. 
  • Finally, candidates can confirm their seats after Central University of Jammu B.Tech fees payment.
