Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, also known as SSUS, is a state university established in 1993. Located in Kalady, Kerala, the SSUS campus spans over 50 acres. The university is affiliated with itself and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). SSUS is accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC (2021) and ranked in the 151-200 band by NIRF 2021 among universities in India.

SSUS offers over 86 undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, and doctoral programs in streams such as Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, Sciences, and Education.
