Established in 1971, Symbiosis International University is a multidisciplinary university founded by Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar. It was granted the status of the ‘Deemed to be University’ by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India in 2022. Also known as SIU Pune, the university has been awarded Category-I status by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It has collaborations with foreign universities from countries such as the USA, the UK, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Finland, France, and others
Symbiosis International University is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with an ‘A++’ grade. In 2023, SIU Pune was awarded the QS I-GAUGE - DIAMOND rating among Indian colleges and universities. The university has been ranked 6th in the law category, 17th in the management category, 32 in the university category, and 59th in the overall category in the NIRF Ranking List 2023. In 2022, it was ranked 3rd in the law category, 17th in the management category, 32nd in the university category, and 62nd in the overall category in the NIRF Rankings 2022. In the Times Higher Education World Univerity Rankings 2023, it has been ranked in the 801-1000 band in the overall category. It was also placed at the 10th position in the category of 'University & Deemed to be University (Private-Self-Financed) (Technical)' in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievement (ARIIA) 2021.
Over the years, Symbiosis International University has established need-based constituent institutions or centres across eight faculties - law, management, computer studies, health sciences, media and communication, humanities and social sciences, engineering, and architecture and design. SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2023 registration has started. The last date for application is April 12, 2023. SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2023 admit card will be published on April 22, 2023 (test 1) and April 28, 2023 (test 2). SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2023 will be conducted on May 6, 2023 (test 1) and May 14, 2023 (test 2). SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2023 result will be declared on May 24, 2023. On the other hand, SNAP 2023 dates will be released soon by the university. Symbiosis International University PG admissions 2023 has already been completed based on SNAP 2022. SIU Pune UG admissions 2023 will be based on SET/SLAT/SITEEE 2023.
The Symbiosis International University admission process is entrance-test-based for its various UG and PG programmes. The university conducts SET, SLAT, SEED, and SITEEE exams for Symbiosis International University UG admissions. On the other hand, SNAP is the entrance test for its PG programmes, including the various MBA programmes. Symbiosis International University Application Process 2024
Any student who wants to join the university must start the Symbiosis International University application process by applying for the prescribed entrance test. Students can apply for these entrance tests online. Here is a detailed guideline on how to fill out the SIU Pune application form.
Step 1: Candidates must visit the SNAP/SET/SEED official portal and register themselves on the portal.

Symbiosis International University has campuses in four different Indian states across six major cities - Pune, Bengaluru, Noida, Nashik, Hyderabad, and Nagpur.
