Initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an ongoing National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences. It aims to attract exceptionally meritorious and motivated students to pursue basic science courses and research careers. Candidates with core Science subjects in the 10+2 level are eligible to apply for this scholarship program. Through this BTech scholarship, the government offers up to INR 28,000 per year.
The Merit Cum Means Scholarship for Professional and Technical courses is granted by the Ministry of Minority. This particular scholarship program is directed towards providing financial aid to meritorious, poor students coming from minority communities.
