Hello. Yes, you can get admission to NIT Trichy through JEE Main marks as a diploma holder. Candidates as diploma holders can apply for admission to any UG courses through JEE Main like BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Civil Engineering and many more. However, when it comes to admission to NITs as a diploma holder, one cannot take admission directly into the second year i.e. lateral entry. There is no compulsion for an entrance test conducted for admission to MCA programme and students can get admission on merit basis. It is a full-time course and it is not conducted in online mode. If your daughter is in the last semester, she can apply for admission now only through official website in online mode.
