Baddi University Latest Updates
The Baddi University has announced that the BU-CET Online Exam will take place on 17 June 2024. This exam is crucial for students seeking admission and scholarships.
The orientation program for the batch of 2024-25 is scheduled for 12th Aug 2024, followed by the commencement of classes on 13th Aug 2024. This program aims to familiarize students with university facilities and faculty mentors.
The application form will be available from 4th April 2024, with the last date for submission being 5th June 2024. The result declaration is set for 25th June 2024.
About Baddi University
Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technology (BUEST) popularly known as Baddi University is a private university established in 2002 and recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Earlier it was known as Institute of Engineering and Emerging Technology (IEET). It got university status in the year 2009. The university is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Baddi University secured 146th position out of 171 colleges in India in the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) Ranking 2023.
The university has seven schools offering BTech, BCA, BCom, BPharm, MBA, MSc, MCA, MTech, PhD etc. courses. School of Management Studies (SMS), School of Sciences (SOS), School of Pharmacy Emerging Sciences (SPES) are some of the Baddi University schools. School of Pharmacy and Emerging Sciences (SPES) of BUEST is considered one of India's best Pharmacy Institutes by a survey conducted by AICTE in collaboration with CII.
The Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission (HP PERC) has approved the BTech and MTech courses at the Baddi University. The university accepts national/state level entrance exam scores and also conducts the BUEST entrance exam for admission. The 40 acres Baddi University campus has Smart Classrooms, an auditorium, state-of-the-art laboratories, a library, gym, and sports facilities that include badminton & tennis courts, a basketball court, football, and cricket fields.

Baddi University courses list consists of over 100+ courses. The university provides courses at five levels: certificate, diploma, UG, PG and doctoral. All courses are offered in full-time mode. Baddi University admissions are offered in a wide range of programmes. The university provides both merit based and entrance based admission. It conducts BUEST scholarship cum entrance test for admission. For Baddi University course admissions, scores of JEE Main, CAT, MAT, GATE etc. are also taken into consideration. Baddi University Library
The library present in the university was established in the year 2002. It now houses a rich collection of knowledge in the form of books, journals, periodicals, CDs, and DVDs. The International classification standard known as AACR – II or the Anglo-American Catalog Rule's part 2 is followed in the Baddi University library. To digitize its services, the library has taken steps by installing KOHA, Open Source Software (OSS), DSpace, and Greenstone.
The students can also access the journals that are both national and international, utilise the online resources, see the DVDs and CDs, and can have a membership with other libraries too.

Baddi University IDEA Factory
Baddi university encourages students to innovate and research. As a step towards this wish, an IDEA factory was set up. It is a combination of lab and workshop that allows the students to brainstorm, design, build the prototype of the product, and also test it. The product is shared with respective industries for production. There are two types of projects in the Baddi University IDEA Factory.

- Funded project that is done in collaboration with the industry
Baddi University Transportation
Baddi University is located on the National Highway. It provides transport facilities to staff, faculties, and students within 90 km of the University campus.
Baddi University Sports
Sports activities and events are conducted throughout the year at the university. Various Baddi University sports like Basketball, Football, and tennis are encouraged. Dinesh Mongia Cricket Academy professional cricket coaching to interested university students.
BUEST Girls Hostel
There is a separate hostel for girls within the Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technologies campus. The hostel has special arrangements made for the safety and security of the students. Fortnight bus trips to Chandigarh (30 km away) are organised by the university on the university bus. There are indoor games present. Food is also served in the hostel in the mess. It is well equipped with modern facilities. The Baddi University hostel has a warden and attendants, headed by the chief warden.
Baddi University Boys Hostel
There are two boy's hotels, one for seniors and one for juniors. Both are situated within walking distance of the Baddi University campus. They have outdoor game facilities like badminton, volleyball, and cricket. A shopping complex is also present in the hostel. It has a well-equipped mess. The hostel has a warden and attendants, headed by the Chief warden.

Baddi University Scholarships
