Class of 78 Scholarships are awarded by the BMS Class of 78 Trust Fund, a wholly charitable trust registered u/s 12A and 80G of the IT act of 1961.
Eligibility: Seventh semester Students of a) Electrical & Electronics and b) Electronics & Communication departments who have a First class distinction (70% or more) for the first six semesters on an overall basis.
The Cash prizes: The Trust hopes to generate an annual disposable income in excess of Rs.50,000 (fifty thousand) per year. Two prizes in each of the following categories will be awarded based on the criteria below:
Huawei Technologies India, the Indian R&D Center of Huawei (a leading global ICT solutions provider) has signed a MoU with BMS College of Engineering to provide Huawei Scholarships for Excellence to students of the Engineering College. The scholarship of INR 50,000 each will be given annually to students of second, third and fourth year Bachelor of Technology Course. The Huawei scholarships will be provided to 10 students with high academic performance who require financial assistance, to encourage academic excellence and pave way for their career growth, as well as contribute to the society.
