In-house Training Cells: Calcutta Institute of Technology has in-house cells for technical English and communication skills, professional ethics, professional communication practice, communication skills, English language communication skills, organisational communication, English for professionals, aptitude, spoken English and other skills training, campus recruitment training and event-specific programmes like GATE, TOFEL, CAT etc.
Hostel: Calcutta Institute of Technology facilities include separate hostels for men and women. The hostels are ragging-free and incorporate furniture, electricity with generator backup, sufficient water etc. CIT Kolkata boys hostel is located on the campus. The CIT Kolkata girl's hostel is located within 1 km of the campus. Every hostel is monitored by a round-the-clock warden.
