• Candidates should have passed 3 years B.A./B.Sc., Degree Examination from any recognized university with 50% of marks in aggregate (45% marks in case of SC/ST, Category-l and Physically Handicapped candidates) in all the subjects including languages with English as one of the language
• He / she has studied at least anyone of the following Languages: Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Marathi, Sanskrit and Any two of the following electives : History, Political Science, Sociology, Geography, Economics, Philosophy, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Mathematics, English, Kannada, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Sanskrit, Microbiology, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics.
