This innovative programme of the Central University of South Bihar aims to inspire and assist students in becoming self-sufficient and improving their abilities for cooperation and leadership. A student may be given a job under this plan for a maximum of 10 hours per week. This includes tasks like helping out in the library, computer lab, lab, faculty/department/centre, office, placement section, resident halls, and other particular positions that the university may occasionally identify. The university will also provide experience certificates to students.
The scholarship under the "Earn While You Learn Scheme" is open to all students with a strong GPA or CGPA in the preceding semester or academic year, as applicable. The Cell will determine and assess the qualities, abilities, and skills needed to execute the job they are applying for.
During the current academic year, a pool of qualified candidates will be created through interviews in preparation for any upcoming assignment(s). For the work completed, all such students would receive compensation of Rs 60/- per hour, up to a maximum of 10 hours per week.
Students who have perfect attendance (100%) the semester before may be given an "Attendance Based Merit Scholarship" without having to go through an interview. They will have to apply for the Scholarship. Each semester, all of these students will get a course book award of up to Rs 1000. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must buy up to one thousand rupees worth of course materials and submit the cash memo for those purchases to the Scholarship Cell with the completed application.
Merit-cum-Means Scholarships will be given to non-recipients of any other Scholarships, such as OBC/SC/ST/Minority students, in all of the University's programmes, strictly based on merit and on the Scholarship Cell's recommendation. 20% of each program's total enrollment students may be eligible for this scholarship.
Any University student who qualifies may apply for this scholarship. For first-semester students, their performance in the entrance exam and interview will be considered when assessing their merit. For students enrolled in the second, third, fourth, and fifth semesters, a GPA of 6.0 is necessary. If the student satisfies all requirements for renewal, the scholarship will be renewed on a semester-by-semester basis. Scholarship eligibility requirements include a GPA of 6.0 and the parental income of the applicants.
The total annual gross income of the parents should not be more than Rs. 1,20,000. Along with the application form, students applying for the scholarship must provide a current income certificate for the previous year that has been granted by an appropriate revenue body. The scholarship will not need to be renewed with a new income certificate for the following semester. However, at the start of each academic year, a new, legitimate income certificate for the previous year must be submitted for consideration.
A scholarship based on merit will be given in the form of a half tuition fee waiver for the semester. However, under rare circumstances, a student might be suggested for full tuition fee relief.
Full-time divyang students at the CUSB, particularly those from economically disadvantaged sections, will be given the scholarship for divyang students in order to cover additional transportation costs. The scholarship is only available to students with a disability of at least 40% and whose parents' yearly gross income from all sources does not exceed Rs 1,20,000.
The support would be valid from the start of the semester or the student's admittance to the semester, whichever comes first, through the end of the semester. The aid would be acceptable based on the medical certificate granted by the University's qualified medical authority. The divyang scholarship will give students Rs 1000 per month. However, these students must continue to achieve 75% attendance per semester.
The Central University of South Bihar's entrance/semester participants, who received the highest grade among admitted students in the relevant programme, are entitled to apply. Scholarships will be awarded to CUSB entrance toppers without an interview. However, students must submit their applications for the Scholarship using the proper format. Only one semester's worth of merit scholarship money will be awarded. The scholarship amount would be Rs 1000 per month.
