COER B.Tech Eligibility (Indian Candidates)
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and must have appeared in the JEE Mains.
COER B.Tech Eligibility (NRI/ Foreign Nationals)
NRI candidates must have passed intermediate or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics for an institute in India/ Abroad. NRI candidates will be required to submit to a certificate from Indian Diplomatic Mission/ High Commission to be eligible for B.Tech COER admission.

The selection of the candidate to COER B.Tech course will solely be on the basis of merit in JEE Mains examination. For NRI candidates the selection will be done on the basis of total marks obtained by them in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the last qualifying examination.
To be eligible for M.Tech admissions at COER candidates must have a B.Tech in CS or in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks and a valid GATE score for General and OBC candidates. However the pass percentage for SC/ST candidates is 55% with a valid score in GATE/GPAT. Such candidates will be given preference in admission and they will not be required to appear in the entrance exam.

COER offers two engineering courses at Diploma level, i.e., Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. All the details about the admission process for Polytechnic courses offered by COER can be checked below -
The candidates must have passed Class 10th with a minimum of 40% of marks to be eligible for admission in Diploma courses. The candidate must note that he/ she must have cleared UBTE JEEP for admission under state quota.
Candidates aspiring for admission through the entrance exam will have to register for the UBTE JEE exam. After clearing the exam, the candidates will have to register for the counselling process.
Candidates aspiring for direct admission without the entrance exam can directly visit the official website of COER and register for the admission through the ‘Register Now’ option.
Candidates aspiring for admission through entrance examination must choose COER as the first option while exercising the web options. The selection for these candidates will be based on the marks scored in the entrance test.
Candidates aspiring for direct admission will be selected on the basis of his/ her marks in Class 10th.
Candidates aspiring for BBA admission at COER must note that he/ she must have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 45% of marks. The candidates must have studied English as one of the subjects in 12th to be eligible for the admission process.
The admission process for BBA at COER will be based on the performance of candidates in Class 12th. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their marks, and the final admission will be confirmed accordingly.
Candidates aspiring for MBA admission at COER must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of marks. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Uttarakhand OBC category must have 45%. Candidates with a valid national-level exam score such as CAT/ MAT/ CMAT etc will be also given preference during the admission process.
MBA applicants of COER are selected on the basis of his/ her performance in the Bachelor's degree. Marks or percentage scored at UG level shall be considered for the admission.
Candidates aspiring for B.Com admission at COER will have to pass Class 12th with a minimum of 45% of marks. The candidates must have studied English as one of the subjects in Class 12th to be eligible for the admission process. The selection process will be based on his/ her performance in Class 12th. Marks score in Class 12th will be considered for the admission process.
Candidates aspiring for MCA admission at COER must have passed BCA, B.Sc CS/ IT/ B.Sc with Mathematics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% of marks. Candidates from any stream/ course at UG level can also apply for MCA admission in COER, but he/ she should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class 12th.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of his/ her marks in the Bachelor's degree/ merit. The final admission confirmation will be based on the availability of seats and number of seats vacant for the same.
Candidates aspiring for BCA admission at COER will have to pass Class 12th with Mathematics as one of the subjects. The candidates must have a minimum of 45% of marks in Class 12th to be eligible for the admission process. The selection of candidates will be based on his/ her marks in Class 12th.
Candidates aspiring for B.Sc Agriculture admission in COER must have passed Class 12th in PCB stream/ Biology as one of the subjects. The candidates must have a minimum of 45% of marks in Class 12th to be eligible for the admission process.
The selection of candidates for B.Sc Agriculture admission at COER will be based on his/ her marks in Class 12th exams.
