Overall: A comprehensive engineering program with a focus on innovation and research is provided by COER. The campus is state-of-the-art, with cutting-edge libraries and laboratories. Pupils value the helpful instructors and lots of chances for industry internships. To counterbalance the demanding academics, some people believe that campus life is a little too calm and could use additional extracurricular activities.
Placement: With an emphasis on research and innovation, College of Engineering Roorkee offers top-notch engineering education. The school features first-rate facilities, and the placement unit has a solid track record with frequent visits from organizations like Infosys and TCS. However, the setting is a little isolated, which has an impact on extracurricular activities.
Infrastructure: College of Engineering Roorkee provides a strong engineering program together with immaculate facilities. Modern laboratories and workshops promote hands-on learning. Better recreational facilities and Wi-Fi connectivity, however, would be beneficial to the university.
Faculty: The faculty at the College of Engineering Roorkee combines cutting-edge technology with conventional teaching methods. The lecturers are friendly and frequently incorporate recent developments in the field into their lessons. Even if the faculty is excellent, some students think that the overall quality of the education may be enhanced by providing more funding for the labs.
Hostel: The College of Engineering Roorkee offers very good dorm accommodations. The mess food is decent but could use more variety, and the rooms are roomy. The serene, leafy campus is perfect for concentrated study. Nevertheless, there are moments when the Wi-Fi is spotty. For engineering students looking for a balanced lifestyle, it's a good place overall.
Overall: As an alumnus, I've observed that while the college started with promise, its shift to an independent university hasn't met expectations. Though academics remain decent, there's a worrying trend among local students prioritizing non-academic pursuits, impacting overall student engagement and success.
Placement: Placement is satisfactory but could be better. Opportunities vary, with room for improvement in securing placements. But yeah if someone is willing to do hardwork than faculty is very supportive, some.
Infrastructure: After graduating, it's disappointing to see the disparity between the infrastructure depicted online and the reality. The portrayal is misleading; the actual facilities don't measure up, leaving much to be desired.
Faculty: Faculty are helpful, but environmental constraints limit their potential. Nonetheless, some surpass standards set by higher institutions. The student doesn't seem to take that much interest in studying.
Hostel: The hotels are passable, nothing to write home about. It's livable with a roommate, but don't expect anything fancy. Overall, just okay for a student budget. Isn't value for money and mess is also just okay.

Placement: Placement is average not too good.placement is not done this year.company visiting is less. Placement cell is not giving training for not good for placement
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good.but hostel infrastructure is not good.in the pat year infrastructure is not good.maingate is closed after 7.300 and hostel gate is also closed

Overall: It was known as coer college initially later for about last 2 years its name was changed to UETR ( University of engineering and technology Roorkee) and recently it has been converted into University. Talking about courses all sort of courses are available there and they also offer scholarship to meretious student but for 1st year only. But if you ask them to give you scholarship for all years then they will give it . The important part is ask them for it as they will not come and tell you about it. Overall it is an OK college for you only if you want a degree.
Placement: The most important thing is that there are very little placements for courses like BBA,BCA,BCOM ,b only sales company come here for them. Average salary here offered is 1.5-2lakhs. And for courses like btech, mtech, mba companies come but they offer really less ctc with little or no perquisites and allowances
Faculty: The faculty members here are just mediocre. And not much knowledge. Some of them are teaching as well as side by side they are completing ther PHD from coer university only. They don't teach much and notes are being shared to you through Google Classrooms. There are not much restrictions over attendence so if you wish to prepare for any competitive exams or jobs or you want to begin your startup then this college will suit you. And you can easily pass the exams with just studying the notes.
Overall: It is a good college, many great students but if i had a choice i would have not chosen this college, this college seems nice. But here almost no hosteler attends college, and college also give leeway in attendance. If you want to do higher studies, choose another college.
Placement: Placements are poor , many less companies come for placement here , many students gets off campus placement from here , of you are looking for placements , look areas like Noida , Delhi, Bangalore etc .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not too bad , there are few cafeteria, company computer labs , but few computers are not working properly, they are building all the labs again to make it better and many renovation work is going on.
Faculty: Faculty is great . Faculties conducts many seminar calling experts of their own fields , to give insights to students . All faculties are very cooperative, and ready to help you.
Hostel: College has 3 hostel building for boys and 2 for girls , mess food is okay . Hostel building is well maintained except the Ashok bhawan of boys which is huge with 450+ rooms in it , where usually 3rd year lives .
Overall: In the realm of private colleges in Uttarakhand, the overall coherence of this college stands out positively. When considering private institutions, it's worth contemplating, given its commendable infrastructure, facilities, and faculty.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provides a conducive environment for self-reflection and allows you the freedom to engage in your work-related activities, fostering a consistently positive atmosphere.
