UGC NET Important Topics for Law

The UGC NET Important Topics for Law includes topics from Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law & Administrative Law, Public International Law & IHL, and Law of Crimes. The UGC NET Law syllabus includes ten units prescribed by the UGC.  The NTA has rescheduled the UGC NET 2024 June Cycle exam to be held between August 21 to September 4, 2024, from its former date of June 18, 2024. Candidates can review the NTA UGC NET Law syllabus 2024 and exam pattern to optimize their preparation strategy.  The NTA administers the UGC NET Law exam for law graduates and final-year students interested in academic careers. The UGC NET exam is held twice a year in June and December, and for those aspiring to be assistant professors, junior research fellows, or similar positions. The exam consists of two objective-type papers (MCQs).

The UGC NET is a nationwide competitive exam conducted by the NTA to recruit Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellows for Indian universities and colleges. CLAT 2025 Notification to be released on July 7

CLAT 2025 Notification: The Consortium of NLUs (National Law Universities) will conduct the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2025) in December, and the notification is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2024, through print and electronic media. CLAT 2025 is a national-level law entrance exam conducted for admission to undergraduate(UG) and postgraduate(PG) law programmes offered by 22 NLUs in India. The official notification will be released at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The CLAT 2025 notification will include details such as eligibility criteria, exam pattern and syllabus, exam date and application process etc. As per the previous years’ trends, the CLAT examination was consecutively held on the first Sunday of December. Last year, the exam was conducted on December 3. Hence, CLAT 2025 will be held this year on December 01, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM.

AP LAWCET Results Link 2024: The Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur on behalf of APSCHE, releases the AP LAWCET Results Link 2024, June 27, 2024, through the official website. The exam was held on June 9, 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the exams shall now check their results through the direct link here by entering their registration and hall ticket numbers. The AP LAWCET Result 2024 have been released online only, through the official website, and is not available on other platforms or through email. Candidates shall check their results in rank card format and download it, as it will be required further during counselling. Based on the scores obtained by the candidates they shall secure seats through the counselling process for 3-year and 5-year law programmes.

  • Through the link here candidates will directly reach the official website of AP LAWCET 2024, where candidates shall find the link for Rank Card and Results.
  • By clicking on any of the links, candidates will land on the login portal, where candidates will enter their Registration Number, Hall Ticket Number, and Date of Birth to check the rank card.
  • On logging in the AP LAWCET rank card 2024 will be displayed on the screen for the candidates to check for details.
  • Download the rank card and take a printout of it for safekeeping.
With the declaration of the results, the counselling process for admissions to 3-year and 5-year law programmes as per the preference of the candidates will begin. The official date is expected to be announced soon. However, it may start in the first week of July 2024, so, qualifying candidates are advised to be prepared with the required documents.

Dr. B R Ambedkar College of Law, Hyderabad offers two courses at the undergraduate level, Bachelor of Law ((LLB) and the integrated law course of BA LLB. The fee structure of both programmes varies slightly. The average course fee of LLB at Dr. B R Ambedkar College of Law is approximately Rs. 16,000 per annum while that of BA LLB is Rs. 15,000 per annum.

Dear student,

Dr. B R Ambedkar Law College of Hyderabad offers law courses at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate level. The programmes of LL.B, B.A. LL.B, and LL.M are offered here. Check the eligibility criteria of each course here.

BA LLB: For admission to the integrated law course of BA LLB, you should have completed your class 12th from a recognised board of education with at least 45% marks in aggregate. The age limit is 20 years for this course.

LLB: In order to get selected for LLB at the institute, you must have completed graduation in any stream from a UGC recognised college or university. The aggregate marks you score in your undergraduate degree must not be less than 45%. You should be at least 23 years old for admission to this programme.

LLM: The eligibility criteria for LLM state that you should have an undergraduate degree in law from any recognised institute. An integrated law degree or an LLB done after graduation is considered by the institute. You must have scored passing marks in your qualifying degree.

A relaxation of 5% in the aggregate score and 2 years in the age limit is given to the candidates of SC and ST categories.

The fees for LLB and BA LLB at Dr. B R Ambedkar Law College is Rs. 15,600 per year while that of LLM is Rs. 58,500 per annum.
