The college has a rich library with a collection of a huge number of text and reference books and a number of journals covering all the disciplines. Books are purchased with the principal aim of upgradation of academic awareness of both teachers and students. Teachers and students get ample place, opportunity and environment for reading and borrowing of books and journals within the framework of college rules and regulations. A three storied canteen building has been constructed with the funding from MPLAD scheme under the stipulated supervision of Diamond Harbour Municipality. The ground floor of this building is used as the dining hall and the 1st/2nd floors contain the Boys' and Girls' common rooms respectively. Besides this, the College has another canteen facility at the PG & B.Ed. section. All students, staff and faculty members get wholesome meals and snacks at reasonably cheaper rates from these canteens. The science faculty of the college possesses well-equipped laboratories of admirable standards. Computers, technically advanced instruments etc. are readily available to the students to facilitate their learning process. Respective faculty members are very student-friendly.
The College has four active units of the National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers under the University of Calcutta.
The College has an active NCC unit under the supervision of Prof. Raju Mondal.
