A five-year integrated BA LLB programme is available at Government Law College Kolar. This programme is intended for individuals who wish to pursue a legal degree immediately after completing their 10+2 education (high school). Therefore, if you already have a degree, this would not be a possibility. Formerly, graduates with a bachelor's degree in any field could enrol in Government Law College, Kolar's three-year LLB programme. But as of 2023, this programme has been stopped. Entrance tests such as the Karnataka State Law Entrance Test (KSLET) or LSAT India are usually required for admission to LLB programmes in India.
To get admission at Government Law College Kolar (GLCK) for the LLB course, interested candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by the college. They must have passed class 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST). Once the admission notification is out, fill the online application form available on the KSLU website within the specified deadline. You'll need to pay an application fee (typically around Rs 500). Formerly, the Karnataka State Law Entrance Test (KSLET) determined admission to the LLB programme at GLCK. For admission to all associated universities, KSLU has stopped using the KSLET and has instead begun to use the results of the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) as of 2023. Therefore, your options for admission are to take the Pearson VUE-administered LSAT India or depend only on your 10+2 results.
