GOVT TOOL ROOM AND TRAINING CENTRE-KOLAR provides good technical knowledge with more practical training than theory.
The college has a good semester system in place, with exams happening every 6 months.
The college provides good job placement opportunities and also helps students participate in World skill of India.
The course curriculum is very good, with a right balance between theory and design.
The college management is quite good, but the environment is more like a factory than a college.
