Haldia Institute of Technology admission to BTech for 2024-25 session will start with registration of WBJEE counselling in July 2024 (tentative). Class 12 Marks
Candidates who have completed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology, or a related subject from a recognized board are eligible to enrol in the B. Tech program at Haldia Institute of Technology. In addition, candidates must have earned a Diploma in Engineering from a recognized university to be eligible for admission to the B. Tech LTE program.
Graduation Marks
Haldia Institute of Technology offers a two-year M. Tech program in five fields. A two-year MBA program and a two-year MCA program are also available at the institute. Bachelor's degree in B.E/B. Tech is required for admission to the M. Tech program. Students who have completed a three-year graduation program or a BCA degree and studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject at the 10+2 or graduation level are eligible to apply to MCA. The university also conducts a group discussion and personal interview before reaching a final decision.
Entrance Exam Scores
WBJEE is the entrance exam required for B. Tech courses. The candidate for B. Tech lateral entry is chosen based on their performance in the WBJEEB's WB JELET exam. M. Tech candidates are chosen by the WB PGET or GATE entrance examination. Graduates from any discipline are eligible for the MBA program, and candidates are chosen using the WB JEMAT. WB JECA is the accepted entrance exam for the MCA program.
Haldia Institute of Technology does not have direct admissions (except under the management quota) for any of its courses. WBJEE Counselling
> Students who are found qualified will be allowed to attend the counselling session. WBJEE counselling will take place online, with candidates selecting their preferred institutes and seats being assigned based on their WBJEE scores.
> To begin, aspirants must visit the official website of WBJEEB to register for the WBJEE counselling 2024. Candidates must ensure that all of the information provided is valid before submitting it, as it cannot be changed once it has been submitted. It should be remembered that there is only one registration period for all rounds of allotment.
> To register for WBJEE 2024 counselling, go to the WBJEE 2024 counselling registration page.
> Candidates must select "New Candidate Registration" from the drop-down menu. Candidates will have the option of registering through WBJEE, JEE Main, or both.
> Candidates who choose to register through WBJEE 2024 must provide their application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.
> Candidates for JEE Main 2024 must also submit their application number, roll number, name, and date of birth.
> The candidate can enter the details of both examinations if both channels have been selected. Then press the submit button.
> Following registration, candidates must pay the WBJEE counselling fee of Rs 300. Candidates will be able to pay the charge using a debit card, credit card, or net banking account. The counselling fee is non-refundable.
> Then, for WBJEE seat allocation, registered candidates must fill out an online form with their college and course preferences. The options must be chosen in the order of preference.
> Before the given final date, the selected options, i.e., Haldia Institute of Technology must be edited and locked. If applicants are unable to lock their choices before the deadline, the system will lock the most recently saved options. It is necessary to take a printout of the completed options for future reference.
> Through online, centralized WBJEE counselling 2024, the authorities would award seats to registered candidates based on their merit, specified preferences, and seat availability. WB JECA Counselling
