Hindu College of Engineering and Technology (HCET) is a private engineering college, located in Guntur (Amaravati Road) Andhra Pradesh. The college was established in the year of 2001 by Hindu College Committee with the vision of imparting best knowledge of technology and engineering education. Hindu College was established in 1934, and it is one of the reputed and oldest colleges in Guntur. Even though Hindu College (Guntur) was in existence since 1934, Hindu College of Engineering & Technology was established in 2001.
Hindu College of Engineering & Technology is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK). The college offers courses in engineering stream under different specializations at UG level. All the UG engineering courses offered by HCET Guntur have AICTE affiliation and the degree offered by HCET holds value in the job market. AP POLYCET 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result has been declared on July 10, 2025, on polycet.ap.gov.in. Allotted a seat, must complete the self-reporting process at the respective colleges between July 10 and July 14, 2025.
