ACPC Gujarat M.Tech Admission/Counselling

Gujarat M.Tech Admission 2025: The M.Tech admission process in Gujarat is done via the Gujarat PGCET exam or GATE scores. The Gujarat PGCET 2025 registration process started on January 20, 2025, at gujacpc.admissions.nic.in. This is a common Gujarat PGCET registration form 2025 for the entrance exam and for the counselling process. Students who passed BE/B. Tech with 50% of marks (45% for reserved categories) is eligible to apply for the Gujarat PGCET 2025 exam . Students who will pass the GATE exam do not need to sit for Gujarat PGCET and directly appear in the counselling process. GATE-qualified students can also register directly for the Gujarat PGCET counselling through the registration form. The last date to fill out the Gujarat PGCET 2025 application form and exam date will be released shortly. As GATE 2025 result will be released on March 19, 2025, Gujarat PGCET 2025 registration is expected to be done by the end of March 2025. The authorities may open the Gujarat PGCET registration window until the end of March 2025, so students who qualify in GATE 2025 can apply. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is a committee responsible for conducting the M.Tech admission process in Gujarat.

Entrance Exams for Gujarat M.Tech Admission 2025

Admission to M.Tech courses offered at various colleges in the state of Gujarat is considered on the basis of the GATE 2025 exam of the relevant discipline. Those who do not have a valid GATE scorecard can apply through Gujarat PGCET 2025 exam.

Entrance Exams for Gujarat M.tech Admission

Students with valid GATE scorecards are given first preference for M.Tech Admission. The Gujarat PGCET scorecard is used to fill the remaining seats in the M.Tech course. Admission is granted to those students whose names are displayed in the merit list prepared by ACPC.

Gujarat M.Tech Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Students seeking admission to M.Tech course at a government, grant-in-aid, and self-financed institution in Gujarat must meet the following eligibility criteria. Before registering for the Gujarat PGCET, make sure you fulfill the conditions of the Gujarat PGCET 2025 eligibility criteria .

  • The students must hold an engineering degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Students must have scored 50% marks in the qualifying examination. The minimum mark required in the qualifying examination for the reserved category is 45%.

  • Students who have passed the GATE exam are also eligible to apply.

  • In case the student does not have a valid GATE scorecard, the candidate can appear in the Gujarat PGCET conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat

Gujarat PGCET Registration Process 2025

Gujarat M.Tech admission 2025 registration process has been started on January 20, 2025. Interested students can apply for the Gujarat PGCET 2025 exam and the counselling process at gujacpc.admissions.nic.in. Check out the steps to fill out the Gujarat PGCET application form 2025 below.

Creating a User ID
Step 1: Visit the Gujarat M.Tech admission official website at www.gujacpc.nic.in
Step 2: Select "Registration of New Students."
Step 3: Fill in the student's name field with your name as it appears on the qualifying exam.
Step 4: Select India's ISD Code (India (91)) (Enter the right code; the mobile device will be checked.)
Step 5: Enter your ten-digit mobile number (such as 9999999999).
Step 6: Enter a working email address, such as @gmail.com or @yahoo.co.in.
Step 7: Create your own user ID. The portal will display a notice if the user ID is unavailable. You must select a different user ID if the one you are choosing is unavailable.
Step 8: Carefully go over the information that was submitted. Click on the "EDIT" button to make changes to any entered information, or hit the "SUBMIT" button to submit your details.
Step 9: An OTP will be issued to the number you have given in order to verify your mobile number. The OTP will remain active for fifteen minutes. The OTP must be submitted.
An SMS confirming the creation of your user profile with ID will be sent to you.

Profile Creation of the registered students (following the successful creation of the user ID)

Step 1: Enter your created user ID, password, and security PIN as indicated below to log in to the portal.
Step 2: View/ Edit application form: Enter or Edit the following details
Personal Details:

  • Name of the student: Based on the mark sheet
  • Enter the name of the father. Enter the name of the mother.
  • Date of birth: according to the school leaving certificate or HSC certificate
  • Male, female, or transgender Gender Nationality: Indian or non-Indian

Domicile

  • Choose the State of domicile
  • Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC), Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST), and General/General-EWS are the categories.
  • (You must upload the appropriate document as specified in the document uploading section for categories other than general.)
Sub-Category Details:
  • Physically Handicapped: Yes/No
(The students must upload their Civil Surgeon-issued Physical Disability certificate, which must have a percentage of over 45%, in the document uploading section.)
  • In-Servicemen and Ex-Servicemen: Yes/No for
(For an in-serviceman, the student must upload the serving certificate of their parent who is in the armed forces. The Candidate needs to upload the certificate of father/mother issued by the District Sainik Welfare Board for ex - servicemen.)
  • Tuition Fee Waiver: Yes/No
(The student who wants to avail advantages of the TFW scheme should have a family income of less than 8 Lakh. As stated in the document uploading section, the candidate must upload a legitimate government-issued income certificate.
Additional Details
  • Family Annual Income: The applicant must provide the family's annual income in Indian rupees.
Step 3: Examine and modify contact information
Correspondence Address

Provide your current residential address. Additionally, you can add a different email address and mobile number.
Permanent Address
You must provide your permanent residential address. If both are the same, you can select the same as the correspondence address.

Step 4: Examine and modify Upload Pictures and Documents
(a) Photo: Your most current photo in.jpg format
(b) School leaving certificate: the accessible school leaving certificate in the format of .pdf.

Once you create your profile successfully you will be presented with a tentative timetable for the relevant course along with a variety of other courses. You must submit an application for the course for which you want to apply. You must upload the necessary documents and complete the pertinent academic information. The website will instruct you to pay the required registration fees when you submit the application. Net banking, a credit card, or other UPI method can be used to make the payment.

ACPC has released the Gujarat PGCET 2025 common registration form. Complete the registration, upload your documents, and pay the required fees.

Release of Provisional Merit List

ACPC will release a Gujarat PGCET 2025 merit list for students who are eligible for the counselling process.

Gujarat PGCET Mock Round

Students who will be shortlisted for Gujarat PGCET 2025 counselling will have to participate in a mock round. You have to fill out the Gujarat PGCET choice filling form 2025 on the official website. The mock seat allotment result will be released at the login window. You can access the Gujarat PGCET mock round results using your login credentials. You can use Gujarat PGCET 2025 mock round counselling to have an idea of the cut-offs at various colleges before the actual round is declared.

Gujarat PGCET Counselling Rounds

ACPC will complete the Gujarat PGCET 2025 counselling for COE in two phases. Students with a valid GATE score or Gujarat PGCET score are eligible to participate in the counselling procedure. The counselling process consists of registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and acceptance of seats.

Gujarat PGCET 2025 Choice Filling

You will have the chance to edit/delete/add/modify the selections they made in the mock round through the choice filling window. To change the selections they made in the mock round, you must log in using your credentials.

Gujarat PGCET Seat Allotment 2025

The Gujarat PGCET 2025 seat allotment will be released on the official website. You have to confirm your seat by submitting a token fee of Rs. 2000. You be assigned seats and need to download the admission letter. The admission letter will be available under the seat allotment option. Furthermore, you must report to the designated institutes with the necessary documentation.

Nonpayment of the Token Tuition Fee

If student fails to pay the counselling fees online, their nomination will be instantly terminated. Students who will not pay the fee will be entitled to participate in subsequent counselling sessions.

Gujarat PGCET Counselling 2025

After each round, students will be given the option to reorder their preferences. ACPC conducts additional counselling rounds based on available seats at the specific institute. Students who move to the next round can change their preferences based on the most recent seat matrix. After the results are declared, students must pay the fees online.

Gujarat PGCET Counselling 2025: Cancellation of Admission

To withdraw from the counselling process, you must click on "Cancel admission" from the login interface. To revoke the admission, you will get an OTP to your registered cellphone number. Once you provide the OTP, the admission will be canceled.

The following documents are required while applying for the Gujarat M.Tech admission-

  • Passport-sized photographs
  • School Leaving Certificate/ Date of Birth Proof
  • Photocopy of Aadhar Card
  • HSC Mark sheet
  • Income certificate, if applicable
  • Caste certificate, if applicable
  • In-servicemen/ Ex-servicemen Category certificate, if applicable

ACPC Gujarat M.Tech Fees 2025

Students whose name appears in the merit list and his/ her admission is confirmed for an M.Tech course in the Government or aided college or institution through Gujarat ACPC counselling shall have to make payment of fees for the course as determined by the Gujarat Admission Committee.

Those candidates who get admission to unaided colleges or institutions shall have to make payment of tuition fees determined by the Fee Regulatory Committee under section 9 of the Act.

The guidelines for making payment is given below:

1. Payment can be done online or in the branches of banks as defined by the committee.

2. Admission will be confirmed at the respective institute only after the tuition fees are paid successfully.

3. You can log in to the ACPC account and take a printout of the admission slip for reference.

4. If in any case, the tuition fees are not paid within the time period allotted, the admission of the students shall be cancelled. Such a student cannot apply for the same course in the respective institute in the further rounds of admission.

5. Students whose admission gets cancelled after making payment of fees will receive a complete refund of fees after the completion of the admission process.

6. In case, the students get admission to another course/ college/ institution after the payment of fees, they will only have to make payment for the difference of fees.
