Overall: Placement: IIIT Nagpur is a new college but still as per the latest placement data the highest package is around 95 LPA but this package is out campus and also the average is about 14.4 LPA. Infrastructure: The infrastructure here merely comprises of just a Academic, a Administrative, a Residential Hostel and a Guest House. There is a small garden also but the overall Infrastructure is underdeveloped and in develop[ing phase. Recently, a tender passed for making a ground in IIIT Campus. Faculty: Some of the faculties are pretty good and Helpful. As this is a new college there is also some inexperienced teacher, but the over all faculty is good. Others: Our College regularly organised fest two most awaited fests are Tantra-fiesta(Technical Fest) and Abhivyakti (Cultural Fest). The college experience is great here.
Placement: Average package here is about 14.3 LPA and the highest package as per 2023 is about 95 LPA. Also the selection rate of students in placement here is quite interesting. Most of the student go for the placement got placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is in it's developing phase our college has only 1 administrative, Academic, Residential Hostel and a Guest house. There is too much grasses and bushes in the ground and in the remaining areas. Hope developed soon.
Faculty: The faculties here are very helpful and good. Most of them has a very good experience of how to handle student in Technical field. Some of them are very inexperienced they have very poor teaching skill but they make efforts a lot.
Hostel: Hostel is very good here especially our floor.Daily cleaning of hostel ,bathroom, toilet ,etcs. makes it a great living place. There is many things to improve in Mess food is average but the morning breakfast is pretty good.
Overall: I've spent a year as a student at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur, IIIT Nagpur is a relatively new institute. Still, it's making a name for itself in the competitive Indian tech education scene.
Placement: As a newer institute, placement records are still being established. Initial batches seem to be landing good opportunities, though mostly in tech. The placement cell is active, but it's important to be proactive with skill-building to get the most out of the opportunities provided.
Infrastructure: The campus is still a work in progress. You'll find essentials like classrooms, labs, and the library, but don't expect the grandeur of some older institutes. Sports facilities are improving but are limited. It's a trade-off for being a newer institute - functional but in the process of expansion. Nonetheless, the institute has clearly invested in creating a conducive learning environment for its students, and
Faculty: I've been impressed by most of my professors. They have strong academic backgrounds and understand real-world applications. A few might be less experienced in teaching, but overall they're committed and approachable for extra help outside of class.
Hostel: I stayed at a hostel during my college years, and I found that the rooms were mostly shared by 2-4 students. They were decent for studying, not super luxurious, but the mess food was surprisingly good. The hostel was the perfect place to bond with other students. Although there were limited facilities outside the dorm for now, it had the essentials covered.
