The IIIT Kottayam BTech admission process will begin with the JoSAA registration dated June 10, 2024. IIIT Kottayam admissions are based on the candidate’s performance in all India JEE Mains exam. Candidates have to apply for the JEE Mains exam via online or offline within the given deadline. Candidates have to be very careful while filling the application form and he/she needs to ensure that all information given is correct and valid. If the information is wrong or incomplete, the application form of that particular candidate will be cancelled. Provided below are the step-wise procedure to apply for admission at IIIT Kottayam through JEE Mains.

• Go to the official website of JEE Mains.
• New candidates must register themselves on the portal first.
• Once the registration is done, login with the previously entered credentials.
• Fill in the application form of JEE Main 2020 by entering the academic and personal credentials.
• Upload the scanned signature and photograph.
• Upload the scanned copies of academic details and necessary certificates like passing, caste and domicile.
• Click on 'Submit'.
• Follow the instructions carefully and make the payment of the application fee through online mode.
• After the fee is successfully submitted, take a print out as it would be required in the further admission processes.

IIIT Kottayam B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidate needs to have completed certain eligibility conditions to be able to get admission in IIIT Kottayam. If the candidate fails at satisfying the eligibility criteria, he/she will not receive a call letter for counselling even if they get the required rank in JEE Mains. • Candidates seeking admission must have qualified his/her 12th in the same year that he/she is planning to take admission in IIIT Kottayam or in the year previous to that.
• Candidates should not have more than 25 years of age in the year he/she will be taking admission in the institute if the candidate belongs to the general category.
• Candidates belonging to the Scheduled castes (SC) or Scheduled Tribes (ST) category will be given a relaxation of 5 years. Therefore, their age should not be more than 30 years.
• It is mandatory for the candidate seeking admission to have had Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in his/her subjects of class 12th.
• It is compulsory for the candidate to sit for the engineering entrance exam, JEE Mains, in the same year in which the candidate wants to take admission.
• The candidate should have secured a valid rank in the All India JEE Mains to be considered for admission.
