IIM Jammu Courses & Fees Structure 2024-25

For working individuals with a minimum of three years of professional experience, the Indian Institute of Management Jammu offers an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programme. This course was introduced for individuals who were unable to seek formal management education for any kind of reason. The IIM Jammu EMBA course duration is two years. The total fees is Rs 9,45,000. The programme is divided into three terms each year. The IIM Jammu fees for the 1st year is Rs 4,69,500 and for the 2nd year is Rs 4,75,500. Candidates who receive an offer for admission have to pay a fee of Rs 50,000, on acceptance.

A full-time doctoral programme is offered at IIM Jammu. A postgraduate candidate has the opportunity to finish the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme in three years. The full-time Research Scholars are provided fellowships. All academic costs (including tuition, placement, computer, library and alumni fees) and accommodation costs (including boarding and lodging) are covered by the fellowship. Research students also receive scholarships and other financial aid. The scholarship is Rs 35,000 per month (1st and 2nd Year) and Rs 40,000 per month (3rd and 4th Year). The additional financial support provided to the IIM Jammu PhD students is Rs 40,000 per year (Contingency Grant), Rs.50,000 (for Laptop purchase, one-time allowance) and Up to Rs 2,00,000 (for attending conferences).

The Indian Institute of Management Jammu offers a five-year-long, Integrated Program in Management (IPM), that is full-time and completely residential. Integrating management education with STEM fields such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics is the course’s main goal. The IIM Jammu IPM fees for the first year is Rs 5,33,200, for the second year, it is Rs 5,33,400 and for the third year, it is Rs 5,39,400. The fourth and fifth years' course fees would be in line with the prevalent fees for MBAs.

The Indian Institute of Management Jammu offers numerous programmes such as MBA, Dual Degree Programme, IPM, Executive MBA, PhD and Certificate programmes. The fees for these courses vary based on the specialisations and the duration. The overall IIM Jammu fee structure ranges from Rs 80,000 to Rs 17,15,000, in total. The total fees comprise Tuition Fees and Other Academic/ Non-Academic Expenses. The latter includes fees for Library fees, Hostel fees, IT Infrastructure, Academic Support, Student Welfare, Health Insurance, Alumni fees, etc. Other than these, a Caution Deposit (Refundable) of Rs 20,000 has to be paid during admission. A fee of Rs 50,000 also has to be deposited while accepting the admission offer. All the fees vary from year to year and even on the programme chosen for admission.

Hostel facilities are provided to both male and female students at the Indian Institute of Management Jammu campus. Since the 200-acre, cutting-edge permanent campus in Jagti has not yet been opened, the students are housed on two transit campuses in Canal Road and Jallo Chak. The hostels offer all the necessary amenities such as wifi, 24-hour water supply, a library, dining, a gym, a sports area, etc. There are adequate medical and health facilities also available for students. For safety and security, CCTVs are also added. The total fees of the hostels for both male and female students is Rs 73,500.

The Indian Institute of Management Jammu offers a variety of programmes in the fields of management and technology. Both postgraduate and doctoral programmes are available here. Other than this, Integrated and Certificate courses are also offered here. The IIM Jammu courses one can choose from are MBA, MBA (Hospital Administration and Healthcare Management), Dual Degree (B.Tech + MBA), IPM (BBA + MBA), Executive MBA, EMBA - Corporate Affairs & Management and PhD. The courses' goals are to give students the conceptual knowledge and interpersonal abilities they'll need to make decisions in both structured and unstructured settings. The Masters of Business Administration (MBA) course is a PG level management programme which is awarded to the students upon completion of the Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP). The course duration is two years. Three trimesters and an eight-week summer internship comprise the IIM Jammu MBA course each academic year. It is a full-time, residential programme. The first year fee is Rs 8,54,500 and the second year fee is Rs 8,60,500. The total fee for the MBA course is Rs 17,15,000. In a world that has become more complex and dynamic, the IIM Jammu MBA curriculum is meant to equip students to take on leadership responsibilities.
