The Indraprastha College for Women (Indraprastha College or IP College) was established in 1924. It is one of the oldest colleges under Delhi University (DU). IP College for Women is approved by the AICTE and accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC with a CGPA of 3.33 in July 2022. The Indraprastha College offers courses at both UG and PG levels in fields like humanities, science, commerce, computer science, literature and liberal arts. The IP College fees range from Rs 24,000 - Rs 3.08 lakh.

The Indraprastha College admissions are done based on both previous academic merit of the candidates as well as the scores obtained in entrance examinations. The exams accepted are CUET for UG programmes and CUET PG for IP College PG courses. DU will release the Indraprastha College cutoff list, from where the shortlisted candidates will proceed to the selection process.

It is mandatory to take the CUET exam for Indraprastha College admission 2024-24 in UG courses. For PG courses admission is granted on a merit basis for students who graduated from DU affiliated colleges. Indraprastha College for Women Application Process 2024

The application process for Indraprastha College admission 2024, is done online in the DU admission portal. The application process for the UG and PG courses is separate. The IP College UG application process will be done through the CUET official website. Given below are the details for both:

Indraprastha College UG Application Process

For IP College admission to the UG courses candidates have to apply through the official website of CUET.

  • Visit the CUET official website, i.e, cuet.samarth.ac.in. 
  • Click on the Register link.
  • Go through all the details properly and click on the Proceed button.
  • Fill out the application form with personal and academic information.
  • Submit the required scanned documents like class 10 mark sheet, category certificate (if any), photograph, signature, etc.
  • Make the IP College application fee payment through credit/ debit card, net banking or UPI.
  • Submit the application form and take a printout of it along with the receipt for future use.

The final selection will be based on e-counselling. Candidates have to register for the e-counselling process on the DU admission portal.

For Indraprastha College PG courses candidates have to apply through the Delhi University admission portal. The steps for this are given below:

  • Visit the DU official website.
  • Click on the UG/ PG link.
  • Then register using a valid email id and phone number.
  • An OTP will be sent to the contact information provided (either by mail or SMS)
  • Enter the OTP and fill out the application form by providing the necessary academic and personal details.
  • Upload the scanned photograph, signature and required documents.
  • Pay the application fee via credit/ debit card or net banking.
  • Then finally submit the application form.

For IP College admission 2024, candidates first have to meet the eligibility criteria and will then have to take the entrance exams. The scores of which will decide the final selection of the candidates. The entrance exam for the UG and PG courses is CUET and CUET PG respectively.

  • Domain Specific: This part has 27 domain-specific subjects. Candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria of their desired subject for this. 
  • General Test: It is offered by DU, for any UG programme offered where the general test is used for admission. Candidates must refer to the program-specific eligibility criteria for choosing general tests.
