The Indraprastha College for Women (Indraprastha College or IP College) was established in 1924. It is one of the oldest colleges under Delhi University (DU). IP College for Women is approved by the AICTE and accredited with an A+ grade by NAAC with a CGPA of 3.33 in July 2022. The Indraprastha College offers courses at both UG and PG levels in fields like humanities, science, commerce, computer science, literature and liberal arts. The IP College fees range from Rs 24,000 - Rs 3.08 lakh.
The Indraprastha College admissions are done based on both previous academic merit of the candidates as well as the scores obtained in entrance examinations. The exams accepted are CUET for UG programmes and CUET PG for IP College PG courses. DU will release the Indraprastha College cutoff list, from where the shortlisted candidates will proceed to the selection process.
It is mandatory to take the CUET exam for Indraprastha College admission 2024-24 in UG courses. For PG courses admission is granted on a merit basis for students who graduated from DU affiliated colleges. The application process for Indraprastha College admission 2024, is done online in the DU admission portal. The application process for the UG and PG courses is separate. The IP College UG application process will be done through the CUET official website. Given below are the details for both:
For IP College admission to the UG courses candidates have to apply through the official website of CUET.
The final selection will be based on e-counselling. Candidates have to register for the e-counselling process on the DU admission portal.
For Indraprastha College PG courses candidates have to apply through the Delhi University admission portal. The steps for this are given below:
The application varies for UG and PG courses and also for different category students. The CUET application fee is Rs 600 for general category students and Rs 550 for SC/ ST/ PWD category students. The CUET PG application fee is Rs 500.
For IP College admission 2024, candidates first have to meet the eligibility criteria and will then have to take the entrance exams. The scores of which will decide the final selection of the candidates. The entrance exam for the UG and PG courses is CUET and CUET PG respectively.
Selection to the IP College UG courses is based on the CUET entrance exam followed by two e-counselling rounds. Candidates qualifying in the CUET exam will have to enrol for e-counselling through the DU admission portal.

The admission process at Indraprastha College for Women will take place as per the guidelines of Delhi University. As part of the Indraprastha College for Women, the candidates will have to register themselves with the college, complete the application form, upload the documents for the required for the admissions to the program. The candidates will have to ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria along with the cut-off list for ICW in order to have a successful admission process at Indraprastha College for Women.
Candidates need to qualify Higher Secondary from CBSE or any relevant board. The aspirants need to have English as a compulsory subject in 10+2. A minimum of 50% needs to be secured by the candidates in Higher Secondary.
The candidates who wish to pursue any of the programmes that are offered by the college at the undergraduate level, they will need to follow the application process for UG courses at IP College for Women. The first step for the candidates is to register themselves with the University of Delhi on the Online Portal of the varsity. Once the registration has been completed, the candidates will have to pay the registration fee, which will complete the registration process. Once the candidates have registered themselves with the college, they will have to wait for the cut-off lists to be released by Indraprastha College for Women. Admission will be on the basis cutoff only.
The candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and the cut-off lists for ICW will be able to take part in the Indraprastha College for Women Selection Process .
