Kalinga Institute of industrial technology has a nice and green campus located at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. KIIT is spread over 7.5 million sq.ft. built up area. The college doesn't want to bound the students with just academic studies and lectures as they keep organising KIIT’s orientation program which includes workshops, study groups and social activities. The atmosphere of the college allows the students to get socialise and actively take part in various events organised by the institute.

Kalinga Institute of industrial technology has an adequate number of classrooms which are well furnished and well designed. The Leaning at the campus is not just bounded by the theoretical bookish knowledge and written notes The college follows the modern trend of transferring knowledge through visual and audio technique. The LCD projector and other sophisticated teaching aids are installed at all classrooms which allow students to adopt the concept quickly.

Kalinga Institute of industrial technology organise events and inter college meets at the college auditorium. The auditorium provides a seating capacity to 1600 students.

Other facilities available at the KIIT campus are Conference Halls (18 Nos.), 5 Star Guest House(42 Suits), Banquet Hall and Exhibition Ground (5 acres).  Apart from these, a total of 20 Open Air Theatres (OATs) are available at the campus with different capacities. The availability of this number of seminar halls and conference halls allows the organisation of meetings & conferences comfortably at the campus.

Kalinga Institute of industrial technology has facilitated students with 12 sports complexes sprawl over an area of 29 acres. The ground of the college is a regular venue for Ranji matches for the day and even day/night cricket matches.  The campus of KIIT Bhubneshwar has swimming pools and indoor stadiums constructed at the campus. KIIT’s Central Indoor Stadium(Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium) has been organising indoor sports events at the campus including Chess, Carom, Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball e.t.c. Besides these sports facilities, a gym is constructed at the college campus.

All hostels of KIIT provide a separate residential facility for boys and girls. Hostel buildings have round the clock Internet and Intranet Facility, 24-hour Reading Room Facility, other facilities for all types of indoor and outdoor games. Hostel mess serves good quality food to the students. Some other facilities which provide a comfortable environment for the students are hospital, bank,  convention centre, post office, library, railway ticket reservation centre e.t.c.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls with round-the-clock wireless internet and intranet connectivity. About 30% of the hostel rooms are air conditioned. All the hostels have attached canteens serving good quality Indian and Continental foods. A dedicated international hostel accommodates foreign students. Each hostel has 24-hour reading room and facility for indoor and outdoor games.
