Kumaraguru College of Technology's campus is spread over 150 acres of land covered with lush green trees. KCT has an excellent infrastructure that provides a perfect ambience for quality technical education. The institute has approximately 400 well-qualified faculty members and the student’s intake is approximately more than 1500.
Various facilities are provided by the institute as per the Anna university norms. There are spacious and air-conditioned classrooms available in the institute that has been designed using modern teaching aids. The college has 4 seminar halls that can accommodate 200 people at a time. Along with that, there are 4 smaller seminar halls with a seating capacity of 150 people.
A state-of-the-art computer lab is available at the institute with 120 new generation systems and updated software. Apart from that, the transportation facility is also provided to the students and staff to ensure their safety and security. KCT has a medical centre with experienced doctors and an ambulance service. Additionally, the institute offers accommodation to both boys and girls with well-furnished rooms and premier facilities. The world-class library of KCT is spread in an area of 16,945 square feet and has a huge stock of books available including reference books, semester books, national, international journals, magazines, etc.
Apart from carrying out academic studies, KCT Coimbatore also focuses on the extra-curricular activities for the holistic development of the students. Various clubs have been organized at the institute that provides students with an opportunity to sharpen their skills including dance, music, debate, and spiritual, etc. KCT also has outdoor areas and indoor courts for carrying out sports activities.
KCT students Hostel is an integral part of the college campus. It has two distinct sections for boys and girls students. The gents’ hostel comprises of four blocks with total of 445 rooms with a capacity to accommodate 1335 students. The Ladies hostel has a total of 329 rooms in its three blocks with a capacity to accommodate 987 students. All men and women residents of the hostel are provided rooms on a triple sharing basis. All common areas like dining, washrooms, lobby, terrace, etc. are provided separately for men and women’s hostels.
Fine Arts club focuses on fine art events like drawing, painting, embroidery, jewellery making etc. Its main objective is to inculcate the idea of imagination in each individual. It is established in such a way to bring out the talents within each individual and make them realize their excellence in the specific field of arts.
Dance club of KCT was formed in order to bring out the dancing talent from every KCTian. It not only focuses on entertaining people but also working on bringing out certain message that will be useful for the student. The club was established with the mission of bringing out the hidden talents among students and also provide them a stage were they can showcase their dancing talent and interest.The club provides lot of opportunities in the form of competition and workshops for igniting the spark of interest present in the budding technocrats and honing their skills towards showcasing their talents.

The Studio is being set up with higher end DSLRs, a room lighted up perfectly with Classy editing softwares and systems, is a breakthrough which could change the myth of looking bad in Passport size photographs and your own Identity Cards. This studio also inspire various other institutions to set up studios and bring out the enthusiasm of all the aspirants of photography in and around.
The club helps in developing the literary skills of the students. The club encourages them to develop a taste for literature and also works towards improving their spoken and written language.
The qubate forum of KCT is an initiative by a few KCTians who firmly believe that quizzing and debating can be used as a tool to enhance the knowledge in various fields and spread awareness about the current social issues among the students which will help them to face the world with more confidence. It will also enrich their oratorical skills and help them develop distinct opinions and views.
NCC Army Wing for Boys was the first NCC Company created in KCT. KCT was the first private institution to be provided with an NCC unit in Coimbatore. NCC aims to develop qualities such as Leadership, Self – Confidence, Patriotism, Courage and also improve the physical and mental fitness of the selected cadets. HAM radio operators are a group of people nurturing a special interest in wireless communication technology. They operate their wireless transceivers (a combined unit of radio transmitter and receiver) during their pastime for the sheer joy, thrill and excitement involved in doing worldwide radio communication. Unlike the broadcast radio stations (to whom people usually tune the radio receivers to listen to), HAM – radio is a two-way communication system. HAM – radio operators can put their voice on the air and interact with fellow radio operators around the world. When all other means of communications have failed, HAM enthusiasts have played a vital role in communicating from remote inaccessible places during natural disasters like floods, hurricane and tsunami and have aided rescue of victims. The college HAM Club promotes amateur radio operation among students as a useful hobby. The club organizes classes for operating HAM equipment. The club is also involved in obtaining necessary permission from the government departments for HAM aspirants.

SEDS is an independent, student-based organization which promotes the exploration and development of space. SEDS pursues this mission by educating people about the benefits of space, by supporting a network of interested students, by providing an opportunity for members to develop their leadership skills. SEDS is a chapter based organization with chapters throughout India, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Each chapter is fairly independent and coordinates activities and projects in its own area.

The youth Red Cross is one of the avenues available to the students to be pursue under personality development program. The activities related with YRC include collecting, conducting medical camps to village people, literary campaigns, training on first aid,fire safety and rescue, disaster management and tracing. The college created an awareness on the care of their own health and of others through a 2 days first aid training program and equipped the students with the knowledge about Disaster management.
RRC Aims at harnessing the potential of the youth by equipping them them with correct information on mental health substance abuse nutrition and reproductive health and building their capacities as peer educators in spreading messages on the positive health behavior in an enabling environment.
The objective is to help people in and around coimbatore round the clock for 365 days and members abide by the policy of any group anywhere any time. The club is functioning successfully over the years and has Contacts all the blood banks in the city. Above 450 units have been donated this year alone.
Gandhian Youth Movement (GYM), a youth wing of Mahatma Gandhi study centre, was inaugurated with the objectives of inculcating Gandhian thoughts in younger minds. Mahatma Gandhi study centre and Gandhian youth movement adopted Idikarai village in Coimbatore district to create awareness on anti-alcoholism. Members of Gandhian youth movement frequently visit schools for differently abled to teach them the Gandhian principles and thoughts on Independence Day and Republic Day. Mahatma Gandhi study centre and Gandhian youth movement organize Gandhian week during October 1st week on account on Gandhi Jayanthi (2nd October) and Sarvodaya week during January last week on account on Sarvodaya Day (30th January).
The need for a team of young minds to work for nature conservation always shimmered in and around the campus. Inspired and aspired by the changes seen from people organizing their own communities worldwide, to combat flora and fauna a desire to save the deteriorating Earth emanated among the students. The first man ever towards bringing into light a community in the KCT campus initiated during the fall of 2008. A group of dedicated volunteers from all the years, joined hands for our mission, ‘Nurture the Mother Earth and practice a greener life-style’. With the chain of like-minded volunteers increasing, The Nature Club of KCT had its inception on January 2009

Infrastructure: Campuses may provide the most aesthetically pleasing library buildings and academic spaces; however, the living facilities are not always up to par. The majority of the dorms out there beg for an upgrade or don't have an up-to date design unless you are willing to spend premium prices.
Hostel: Living without spending huge sums of money for new place, you should be knowledgeable about such features of your room. The more time you spend in the dining halls, the more unbearable you find the routine and the insufficient quota.
Infrastructure: infrastructure as ut came with good quality computer labs, auditoriums and classrooms. Whole corridors were divided into different sections which makes it easy to remember.
Hostel: There is a lovely hostel at this campus that will provide you with a pleasant atmosphere and a positive impression of your surroundings. This will enable you to receive timely, high-quality meals and reliable internet access.
Infrastructure: The facilities in this college are good. Classes also have WiFi, smartboards. campuse also have sports centres, and libraries too for students to read new books.
