The National scholarship is awarded to the poor and exceptionally meritorious students on the basis of their results of H.S.C. and HSSC examinations, and the annual income of the parents of such candidates must be below Rs, 35,000/-.
Students securing 50% marks in their previous examinations are eligible to apply for such scholarship.
The Senior Merit Scholarship is awarded to the students of +3 degree classes on the basis of the result of their annual CHSE Examination of the State.
It is awarded to the meritorious students on the basis of their results in the Annual H.S.C. examinations.
Students belonging to the scheduled caste and scheduled Tribe communities may apply for post-matric scholarship.
It is awarded on the basis of the competitive Examination held on the first Sunday of each calendar year. The value of the scholarship is Rs.100/- per month.
It is awarded to the children of primary and secondary school teachers whose aggregate mark is atleast 60% in the H.S.C. Examination.
This scholarship is awarded to the orthopaedically handicapped students who have passed the Annual H.S.C. Examination or the Annual Higher Secondary school certificate Examination. The applicant should be within 30 years of age and he/she should have secured at least 40% of marks in the above examinations. The value of the scholarship is Rs 30/- per month.
This scholarship is meant for the blind, deaf and orthopaedically handicapped students for their general and professional course. The value of the scholarship is Rs40/- per month. The applicant should be a citizen of India and his age should be within 14-30 years. This scholarship is awarded for the continuance of studies from +2 to P.G. Level (Excluding research course leading to Ph.D. Medical and Engineering). The candidate should have secured at least 40% of marks in the previous Annual Examiantion.
The students of non-Hindi Speaking states like Orissa are eligible to apply for Hindi Scholarship provided they secure 50% or more marks in M.I.L. (Hindi) in the HSC or CHSE examinations. All such applications are available with the DHE, Orissa. The students can apply through the Principal latest by 31st August every year.
