Overall: My overall experience in Barasat Government Degree College is bery pleasant and awesome, i studied 3 years in this college i have so many memories with this college, this isn't just college for me this was my second home, But we have to go with time so I passed out and new juniors are admitted, wishing a great future for my college and teachers and juniors

Faculty: The department of English, Barasat College, has been consistently striving to deliver quality education to aspiring students and help them think big with English literature and language. Since the inception of the Department in 1988, the teachers, braving the lacks of infrastructure and resources, have remained committed to keep up the standard of teaching-learning. The Department offers both Honours and General Elective courses inEnglish and enjoys substantial enrollment every year.
