The duration of an undergraduate course in BAMS is for 5½ years. The total seat available in this program is 92, out of which 1 is reserved for Central Govt. nomination, 2 for foreign nationals, 10 for students from Southeast Asian countries, and 10 seats for girls and reservations for SC, ST, OBC, and PH as per the norms of the Government.
Admission to the BAMS program is mainly based on the student's merit in the admission test conducted by the University. University uploads the notification of the entrance test to the BAMS program in the newspaper and website
The course fee for the BAMS program is Rs. 42,025/- during the first year and Rs. 1,36,285/-. The hostel fee for the students applying to the BAMS program will be charged extra, which is Rs. 7500/- for 3 years and Rs. 11250/- for the final year. BAMS students will get a stipend of Rs. 12684/- per month during their internship of one year.

Admission to the postgraduate program is based on the candidate's merit in the objective type entrance examination conducted by the University. The notification for the entrance test is being published in the newspaper and in the official website of the University.
3 seats are reserved in the postgraduate program for candidates from BIMSTEC countries who ICCR sponsors through the Ministry of Ayush. 3 seats are reserved for South-East Asian countries and candidates in-service or belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and PH.
The admission fees for the postgraduation program are Rs. 81750/- during the first year, followed by Rs. 54500/- during the 2nd year, and Rs. 54,500/- during the third year. The hostel charge for a year is Rs. 22500/- subject to availability. The monthly stipend that MD/MS scholars earn in the first year is Rs. 42,560/- followed by Rs. 45,600/- and Rs. 48640/- in consecutive years. The stipend also includes DA as per Government norms.
The commencement of the post-graduation course starts on 1st March 2023. The theoretical and practical examination of the part I exam MD(Ay)/MS(Ay) is scheduled for the 3rd and 4th week of February 2023.
The fellowship program is awarded for 2 years. There are 14 postgraduate specialties available for the fellowship program. The University makes admission to the fellowship program after conducting screening tests and interviews.
The fees for the Fellowship are Rs. 54,150/- for the 1st year and Rs. 41,550/- for the 2nd year. Hostel fees of Rs. 18000/- is charged extra per year.
The Diploma course in Nursing and Pharmacy course at the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, is 2½ years. Candidates are selected based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination of the 12th standard. The fee for the Diploma course is 21,400/- for the first year.
The Panchakarma course is 45 days at the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur. The selection process is based on seat availability and a first-come, first-serve basis.
