NEET PG 2024 Exam Day Instructions: Prior to the Test

Applicants must be carrying the following documents to the test center on the day of the examination:
A copy of the QR/Bardcoded admit card with their recent, coloured photograph affixed
A copy of Permanent/ Provisional SMC/NMC/MCI registration is to be kept by the test centre
Any of the following IDs issued by the Government of India:
PAN Card
Aadhaar Card
Voter ID
Passport
Driving License
*Candidates reporting at the center with e-Aadhaar Card and Adhaar No. as ID proof must ensure that the e-Aadhaar Card is of good quality with a clearly visible photograph.
Note that the name on the ID proof has to match the one printed on the NEET PG 2024 Admit Card. Applicants who have had their names changed must be able to produce any of the following relevant documents to substantiate the name change:

NEET PG 2024 Test Day Procedures
Candidates arriving at the exam centre may expect the following procedures to take place on the D-Day.
Social-distanced CBT
Keeping the current Covid-19 scenario in mind, NBE will be conducting the computer-based entrance test in a safe surrounding. All social distancing protocols are to be followed strictly within the premises. NBE has all the right to review the process of conduct of CBT on the test day in the wake of the pandemic.
Entry of Applicants
All candidates are to report at the exam centre as per the allotted time slots. To avoid crowding, the time slots have been given in a staggered manner. However, it is the sole responsibility of the candidate to report to the venue at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time. The conducting authority will inform each candidate of the reporting time via SMS on the registered mobile number a day before the exam date. Also, keep in mind that the reporting counter will close 30 minutes prior to the exam start time. Applicants must therefore report early to get the verification and security check-in process started on time.
Further, NBE/Designated Agency/Test Centre/On-duty Staff shall not be liable for delayed reporting and/or non-presentation of important documents under any circumstances. Applicants who report late or beyond the allotted time shall not be permitted to take the exam under any circumstances.
Location of the Test Centre
The name and address of the allotted exam centre will be printed on the admit card. Applicants are advised to accustom themselves to the location at least a day before the exam day to avoid hassles at the last minute. Only those with valid admit cards and mandatory documents will be allowed inside the exam centre. You are requested to leave your accompanying family member/friends/relatives at the entry gate. No candidate will be allowed to contact their family members, friends or relatives during the examination.
QR/Barcode Reader at the Entry Gate
Candidates taking the exam will need to display their admit cards and ID proof to the exam functionary standing with a QR or barcode reader at the entry point for verification. Candidates will be informed of the assigned lab number at the gate.
Use of Thermo Guns
As per Covid-19 safety norms, candidates will be checked with a thermo gun at the main gate for fever and other symptoms of the Covid-19 infection. If the temperature rises above normal i.e. 94°C, or if the candidate exhibits Covid-19 symptoms, he/she will be allotted a separate lab room to sit for the examination.
Identity Checks
To restrict the entry of any unauthorized candidate, security will conduct identity checks at the test centre. Also, candidates found in possession of items/objects strictly prohibited inside the exam hall and/or using unfair means to get through the exams will be held liable for punishment.
Have a Sound Grasp of the Marking Scheme

NEET PG 2024 Admit Card Guidelines
The National Board of Examination (NBE) has released the NEET PG 2024 Admit Card on June 18, 2024. It will be available to download on the official website (nbe.edu.in) till June 23, 2024. Applicants are notified of the same via email/SMS alerts. To download the NEET PG 2024 Hall Ticket, follow these steps:
Visit the NBE NEET official portal
Click on the ‘NEET-PG’ tab
Click on the ‘Candidate Login’ page and enter your registered User ID and Password
View and Download your NEET PG 2024 Admit Card
Take a printout of the admit card for future reference
Once you have saved and downloaded the admit card, keep the following things in mind:
Check for errors, misprints and mistakes on the admit card and report the same (if any) to NBE immediately
Check for the full name and address of the allotted exam centre, and reporting time mentioned on the hall ticket
Affix your recent, coloured Passport size photograph in the allotted space on the admit card
Make sure the affixed photograph is in the recommended size i.e. 35x45mm and at least 75% of the area on the photograph is covered by the candidate’s head and face.
Ensure that the attached photo is taken against a white background and does not have any scratches, stains or kinks
The candidate must hold a neutral expression while taking the photograph
The photograph must not have any shadow or reflection on the face with red eyes
The candidate must not have taken the photograph wearing any ornaments, caps or goggles
The photograph must be printed on a high-quality paper with a 60dpi resolution at least
Without a valid NEET PG 2024 Hall Ticket, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall or sit for the entrance test
Important Things to Note for NEET PG 2024
Applicants taking the exam must be aware of the following CBT guidelines in advance:
On the test day, finger biometrics and a photograph of the candidate will be captured at the time of registration just before the start time
Candidates are advised to cooperate with the security activity to avoid the possibility of any impersonation
After Face and ID verification, candidates will be guided to their respective computers by the invigilator to initiate the check-in process
All candidates must keep their admit cards and photo IDs handy
Applicants are advised to adhere to the instructions given by the invigilator. Keep in mind that each of the stations will be blocked from the front and the two sides. Candidates shall not be peeping, as they will be under strict surveillance.
Candidates will not be provided with any paper or pen for rough work
Any disruptive or suspicious behaviour may lead to the cancellation of the candidature of the applicant
Signature of candidates will be taken on the attendance sheet for manual attendance
There will be no arrangement to keep any items/articles belonging to the candidate at the exam centre.
Frisking will be done with Hand Held Metal Detectors
Candidates will not be allowed for Finger Biometrics at the time of registration due to Covid-19 restrictions
In the event of a technical fault, candidates will be given complete time to finish their paper
