The applicant shall be a citizen of India

The applicant must have passed a Bachelor/ Post- Graduate Degree Examination of Goa University or an equivalent degree from any other statutory University recognized as equivalent thereto, with a minimum of fifty percent marks.

The candidate should have offered  at the Graduation,  Post-graduation levels at least one school subject (English, Hindi, Konkani, Mathematics, Science, History or Geography – these being school subjects pedagogies offered at Nirmala Institute of Education.)

The applicant should have resided in the State of Goa for a minimum period of 10 years

Candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or through any other Board recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of FORTY FIVE percent marks OR Candidate having passed only the Secondary School Certificate can apply provided the candidate has FORTY FIVE percent marks and a minimum of FIVE YEARS of teaching in any pre-school. A Certificate of experience is essential

Candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree Examination of this University or equivalent examination of any other recognized University, securing a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent Grade.
