NIT Meghalaya Ph.D in Engineering - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2025

The fee for Ph.D in Engineering at NIT Meghalaya is 78000 INR.

To pursue a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree at NIT Meghalaya Shillong, candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria. Applicants should have a Master's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university or institute. They should have obtained a minimum CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale (or 60% marks) in their Master's program. Additionally, candidates must have a valid GATE/NET score or any other equivalent national level examination. Those who do not possess a valid score need to appear for the NIT Meghalaya Ph.D. entrance examination. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, where their research aptitude and potential will be assessed.
