JEE Main 2025 session 2 registration will begin on January 31, 2025, at jeemain.nta.nic.in, with the last date being February 24, 2025. Candidates must upload the following documents: Class 10 certificate, photograph and signature, category certificate (if applicable), and PwD certificate (if applicable). The exam will be held from April 1 to 8, 2025.
As it was a JEE Main 2025 Shift 1 examination held from 9 AM to 12 PM, the paper was rated as moderately to difficult. The paper comprised three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics each carrying 30 questions. Overall, Physics is moderate to difficult, Chemistry easy to moderate, and Mathematics is moderate. This means candidates can also use memory-based solutions to predict their expected score.
The NTA has moved the venue of JEE Main 2025 in Ayodhya for January 28, 29, and 30, since the gatherings of pilgrims during Mahakumbh are going to take place during these days. Candidates affected by this are asked to report to the new centre, SRS Digital Institute. Fresh admit cards are available on jeemain.nta.nic.in, which candidates must download to ensure a problem-free entry into the examination.
The national-level engineering entrance exam, JEE Main 2025, got off to a bad start asthe NTA had to postpone the exam for some students due to technical glitches on the first day. The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Mains 2025) January 23 exam for BE, BTech paper 1 is underway for session 1.

NTA is holding the JEE Mains 2025 exam for Session 1 on the following scheduled dates - Paper 1 (January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29) and Paper 2 (January 30). The exam will take place in two shifts: The first shift (9:00 am to 12:00 pm) and the Second Shift (3:00 pm to 6:00 pm).
The NTA has announced the exam center list of JEE Main 2025 along with 26 international centers. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the City Intimation Slip for JEE Main 2025 on its official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Applicants can download it by logging into the portal using their application number and date of birth. The slip will facilitate travel arrangements to reach the venue for the January 22–30, 2025 examination. Admit cards for the examination will be issued three days prior to the examination date.
Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) 2025 invites North-Eastern students to apply for JEE Main 2025 to get entry to top engineering institutions, including NITs, IIITs, and SPAs. Online registration for Session 2 starts from 31 January 2025. Other schemes like CSAB-NEUT provide an opportunity to the students in reaching tailored seats on admission to different fields, ranging from conventional to emerging engineering streams.
NIT Nagaland BTech admission is offered through the JoSAA counselling process, which requires candidates to have a valid JEE Main 2024 scorecard. The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 result along with the scores on April 24 for paper one. The result download link (jeemain.nta.nic.in) is now active, and students will need their application number, date of birth and security pin to view their results. JoSAA registration will start from June 10, 2024 and the cutoffs are expected to be released in the second week of June 2024. A total of 373515 female students, 806045 male students and nine third-gender candidates registered for JEE Main 2024 session 2.
National Institute of Technology Nagaland, or NIT Nagaland, is a higher education technical institute located in Chumukedima (Dimapur). It is one of ten newly approved NITs by the Government of India in 2009 under the 11th Five-Year Plan, and it began operations in the 2010 academic year. This institute began its journey under the tutelage of the National Institute of Technology Silchar in Assam. It ran for two years on the NIT Silchar campus. The institute identified land for a permanent campus in January 2012, located on a hilly terrain near Dimapur, Nagaland.
The institute began its functioning on September 20, 2012, on a government-approved land of 291 acres. This land was provided for the individual functioning of the institute as till 2012 it was operating under NIT Silchar. With the refurbishment of existing RCC buildings and the construction of a few prefabricated buildings, the infrastructure for classrooms, hostels, and dining blocks for Boys and Girls has been created. Prefabricated structures have been built for new classroom blocks, laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Machines, Power Systems, and so on), and hostels.
Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programmes are available at NIT Nagaland. Currently, it accepts applications from over 200 students for all available programmes. The NIT Nagaland Society manages the institute, is registered under the Societies Act, and receives funding from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The NIT-N faculty comprises bright, highly experienced, and knowledgeable individuals who have been entrusted with the responsibility of providing technical education in a manner that is convenient for the students. The institute organizes workshops and specialized training programs in medical engineering, artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, biotechnology, sensor technology, and other fields to produce highly skilled engineers and entrepreneurs. The university admits students to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. Admissions to NIT Nagaland's B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, and PhD programs are available to qualified candidates. The entrance exam is used to determine admission to NIT Nagaland courses. A valid JEE Main score and participation in JoSAA counselling are required for NIT Nagaland B.Tech admissions. Admission to M.Tech. Programs at NIT Nagaland are made through GATE, followed by CCMT counselling. Admission to M.Sc. programs at the university is based on JAM scores and CCMN counselling. NIT Nagaland admission to PhD courses is based on merit and a personal interview conducted by the university.
B.Tech
Applicants with a 75% 10+2 grade point average from a recognized board are eligible to apply for B.Tech admission at NIT Nagaland.
Admission to B.Tech courses is determined by a candidate's performance in the JEE Main entrance examination.
In 10+2, the qualifying mark for SC/ST applicants is 65%. International students can also apply for B.Tech admission at NIT via Direct Admission of Students Abroad.
M.Tech
To be eligible for M.Tech courses at NIT Nagaland, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognized university.
Eligible candidates must have a valid GATE qualifying exam score.
Candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST) will receive a 5% reduction in qualifying exam marks. Only candidates with a valid GATE score are eligible to apply for M.Tech admission at NIT Nagaland.
PhD
Candidates must have a master's degree, such as a ME or M.Tech, with at least 65% or a 7.0 CGPA.
Candidates with a BE or B.Tech degree must have a graduation grade point average of 8.5.
National Institute of Technology Nagaland Application Process 2023
The application is available both online and offline. A non-refundable application fee is required for all applicants. All courses have online application forms or can be completed at Nagaland's National Institute of Technology. NIT must receive all required documents and completed application forms by the deadline.
