NIT Srinagar B.Tech in Civil Engineering - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2024

Overall: Student having low percentile in JEE mains can definitely pursue a B.tech for NIT Srinagar, Here if you are in CSE , ECE , OR ELECTRICAL branch then you are getting a good package by tech- company

Infrastructure: All the building are big and strong made by the experience civil engineers. The main building of NIT srinagar is the best piece of architecture. The Houses and building make the campus more attractive.

Faculty: All the faculty member are PHD qualified from IIT .They have full knowledge of their subject.They have done research on their subject in a particular topic.

Hostel: Here is the best accomodation for boys and girls students from 1-4 year students . Fully furnished hostel for boys and girls. 24×7 electricity and Internet available for students.

Placement: Placement is good in CS branch average Placement is 19 LPA and in electronic and communication averages is 14 LPA and in electrical there is 13 LPA and in civil average placement is 8 LPA

Faculty: Collage faculty is really very helpful teachers help students in every direction weather that is academic or non academic they remain available 24/7 for the students

Hostel: Hostel facilities are really very good and food given in mess is healthy and worthy and menu gets change day by day due to which students enjoy the food.

Overall: Overall, the college is good, There are 8 branches of btech and total 13 departments including mtech and msc, Cse and IT are here top branches. Placements are good. Weather here is very pleasing

Placement: From the 7th sem, students are eligible for placements. Finisar, IBM, ABB, Polarises, Indian Oil, NTPC, BYJUS, ETC. In the 2023 BATCH, the highest is 36 LPA for a CSE graduate and the average is 12 LPA (my assumption after seeing the list). At least 75% get placements. My plan after my degree is to get a placement

Infrastructure: There are many annual and reach festivals that are celebrated throughout the year by different clubs of the college. The annual festival is celebrated in the month of December before vacations. In the Library, you get almost all books related to all fields of science and technology. classrooms are designed to attract students with all the basic needs that a classroom demands. There are fields or grounds for almost all sports activities. Sports and co-curricular activities are also very good. There are different clubs and groups that are active in the college related to social and technological fields.

Faculty: All the faculty are having minimum Phd degree. The faculty will try their best so that the student will get some benefit from the studies, they are very supportive through our degree

Hostel: Hostel Rooms are spacious and are having chairs and study tables, electric sockets, closet. Meal quality is good. There is the option of chicken 3 times a Week. You will get hostel easily during physical reporting( btech stds

Overall: NIT Srinagar is a good college, and the college is situated in a beautiful place.All the teachers in our college are helpful and careful. They are knowledgeable and have good qualities of a professor.There is good quality of hotels and canteen but mess food is like normal food. Medical and sports facilities are also good for students.

Placement: In my college, there is good placements in CSE, ECE and IT, while for civil, mechanical and electrical, the placements are less. If you are a good student in studies and qualify in a GATE exam, then there are options in PSU companies.

Infrastructure: There is a good infrastructure as well as a library. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus with very good internet speed. Playground is also very good.

Faculty: It all depends on you that if you are good enough at grabbing things, then faculty members can be excellent for you as they do not teach the subject in-depth. So you have to study on your own. Faculty members are good and helpful.

Hostel: There are 8 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls, and many facilities are available on the campus. The food served in the mess is average. Non veg is also given.

Overall: Overall, it is a good college. You can participate in different tournaments like cricket, football, badminton etc. Hostel mess is quite good. Placements rate is also good. You can enjoy, study and achieve your goals here.

Placement: CS, IT and ECE branches have 80% placement rate here, but other branches like civil, chemical,metallurgy and mechanical have about 50-60% placement rate. Companies like Tata Project, L&T, Suzuki Motors and Vedanta come here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good inthis college. The classrooms are furnished and great. The library is good with all the books and available. Wi-Fi speed is good. But hostels are old, and the rooms are not that much good.

Faculty: All teachers in our college are good and helpful. But there are some language issues as some teachers are from south India who can't speak hindi very well . Apart from this, they all are helpful.

Hostel: Food quality is good in our mess. Non-veg is also available. If you are a vegetarian then you will get juice, bread, paneer, rajma, mushroom, rice etc.Canteen and cafeteria are also available.
