NIT Srinagar B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2024

Overall: Beautiful campus , can't go wrong with the dal lake just besides it , hostel's are above average I'd say , food is great, campus is located in a well populated area so there's lots of stuff to do after classes , during winter you can get the chances to see snowfall in campus, in an academics point of view I'd say it's a good college, professors are well qualified IITians and NITians ,some have even done their studies from abroad

Placement: NIT Srinagar is a solid choice for studying engineering. It's part of the NIT system, known for its quality education. However, being located in Srinagar might come with its own set of considerations, so it's worth looking into specifics about placements and other factors.

Infrastructure: infrastructure is above average , there's an auditorium under construction and a mega hostel as well( February 2024), the roads I would say are in need of improvement, some of them are a bit broken and during rains there's a bit of problem in roaming the campus due to the mud

Faculty: faculty is great but at the end of the day you have to study yourself as well , be it from youtube or notes , but the faculty is well qualified, some are IITians NITians and some have completed their studies from abroad

Hostel: Hostels are good , of course they are not at the level of private colleges that cost a fortune , the hostel fees is somewhat around 8000 rs and for that it's great , rooms are clean well painted , decently large , the only problem is that they have accumulated 5 people in one room ,which is quite unusual.
