The candidate shall have passed the Second year Pre-University of XII std or equivalent examinations with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Electronics and shall have secured not less than 45% of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages of the study.

A student who has passed PU examinations of Karnataka, +2 examinations of Kerala or nay other equivalent examinations is eligible to apply for the courses. Preferences will be given to science students when they seek admission to BCA degree course. Candidates successful at the Diploma examination secretarial / commercial practice conducted by the Government of Karnataka may be directly admitted to the III semester (second year) B.Com degree program. Such candidates are not eligible for ranking.
