Pondicherry University Scholarships
Pondicherry University scholarships are offered to all M.Sc Marine Biology and Disaster Management (Port Blair) students. Deserving students in PG degree programmes M.Sc/MA five year integrated programmes can apply for merit scholarships and merit-cum-means scholarships. All differently abled students receive a completely free education.
Pondicherry University Merit Scholarship
- The top three applicants had the highest percentage of P.G. marks. For the first semester, students who pass the admission entrance exams will be eligible for merit scholarships worth Rs 2,000, 1,500, and 1,000 each month. Pondicherry University scholarships are awarded based on performance on the entrance examination.
- The merit scholarship will be provided to the first three candidates who received the highest marks in the previous semester for the following semesters at the same rate of 2,000, 1,500, and 1,000 each month (SGPA).
Pondicherry University Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship
- The university awards MCM scholarships to 20% of students in each P.G. degree programme. The scholarship is awarded based on the student's academic performance (SGPA) and parental income. The parents' annual income should not exceed Rs 2,50,000.
- The scholarship amount is Rs 750 per month. Pondicherry University scholarships are awarded based on entrance exam scores for the first semester. Furthermore, candidates must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for a scholarship:
- At least 70% of the monthly attendance should be achieved.
- Must submit all papers scheduled for each semester.
- The Head of the Department in question certifies that conditions I and ii have been met.
- M.Sc in Marine Biology and Disaster Management Scholarship: All approved candidates will receive a monthly scholarship of Rs 1,000 to attend these courses in Port Blair, Andamans.
- Pondicherry University M.Tech Computational Biology Scholarship: All accepted students will get a monthly scholarship of Rs 12,500.
